For all the praise D'Antoni gets for his "offense", watching this team, you realize that they do NOT run any type of offense.

Just set picks, whoever gets the ball chucks it.

At least Isaiah and his assistants had good plays to run.

We need an ELITE PG.

Not an average but an ELITE star at PG.

This team is horrendous. Gut wrenching.

Re: NYK 10: The Crossover

The offense is as much of a joke as the defense is now. There is no leadership on this team at all, no cohesiveness. I think they had one good offensive possession last night where they made an extra pass and got a wide open three (which of course was missed).

Duhon has been a dog this year, he was at least serviceable for the first half of last year before D'Antoni ran him into the ground by playing him so much. Now he brings nothing to the table, he's playing like a 3rd string NBA point guard. After Lee he is the last guy I'd expect to quit but he's done it a week into the season.

Hughes and Harrington are out to get theirs as usual.

Chandler is a homeless man's Rudy Gay; athletic enough but can't get to the hole. Basically he either catches the ball with a confused look on his face and then passes after two seconds or tries to drive, gets to the paint and shoots a short 5'-10' fade away that he never makes. Mike must have told him not to shoot as many 3's this year and that appears to be in Chandler's head big time.

Gallinari looks okay offensively, he's gotta learn when to draw contact and get to the FT line. He's had several obvious chances so far this year where he just has to lean into the defender and he'll get the foul. Hopefully that will come with time. Great shooter, good passer too.

D-Lee, love the guy. He does what he can and always busts his ***.

Darko should play more, at least he can sorta defend the paint and rebound.

Jordan Hill was nice and aggressive last night and hit a couple of jumpers without hestitation. Pretty clear that he was drafted to be Lee's replacement, hopefully he gets more PT in the near future so we can see what he's got and so he can improve. He looked way better than I expected he would at any point in this year even if it was minimal action in a blowout.

This team is gross though, I'm glad UConn basketball is starting next Friday so I can have a favorite team playing that I can actually tolerate watching.

I can't believe the 2010 first round pick is unprotected, we're going to be losing a Top 5 pick.

Amazing how one man can cripple a franchise for an entire decade. I will be extremely pissed if we somehow miss out on drafting John Wall.

Not one man, but four - Layden, Zeke, Steve Mills and Brain-Dead Dolan.

Yes, this team is sh*t, but we all knew that going in to the season. It's a team of backup players. There's no one on the Knicks who could start for a QUALITY NBA team.

Re: NYK 10: The Crossover

It's not even two weeks into the season and already the only reason I have to watch Knicks games is Rooster and hopefully Jordan Hill/Toney Douglas as their PT increases.

The Jazz have looked horrible this year, they lost at home to Sacramento their last game. Boozer/Millsap will eat us up inside though and of course D-Will will go off.
