I didn't see the game. Only some highlights. But it's nice to know that the Pistons took care of business and put it away during the 4th quarter. This team has racked up some impressive wins on the road up to this point.

Dumars has made some bonehead moves in the draft, but he has also made some solid picks.

Maxiell is almost like Prince of a few years ago. Both were great solid players in College but not flashy (Prince more talented). Everyone is always looking for the flashy player or the kid straight from high school. So when Maxiell was picked he had low expectation and alot of people thought he was a wasted pick.

Im glad to see he's earned some minutes and he will be a key part of the inside presense that they need to make a run. I like Blalock out there for stretches, looks like he has some jets. His decision making will get better with more floor time.

It also looks like McDyess is starting to get it going. Now only if Flip Murray could show some consistency! MLive mentioned Flip for Bonzi.. Just a rumor though.

Not too worried about it, he had a legitimate gripe on the no call. But he did flop a bit on the Marbury foul. Oh well.

It was a good game against the Pacers last night that saw the Pistons make a desperation run late to tie the game and hopefully force overtime. Unfortunately, during a late scrum for the ball Carlos Delfino went out and fouled Darrell Armstrong and put him on the line with under a second to go, and that turned out to be the difference in the game.

After straining his calf muscle late in last night's game, Chauncey Billups is expected to be out for about two weeks. So Flip Murray and Will Blalock will both have to step it up and run the team while he's out. Maybe this is the type of break Flip needs in order to break out of his current shooting slump.

Nice bounce back win over the Hornets last night. That team is very shorthanded now, and it appears we caught them at a vulnerable time. Anyway, Rip set the tone for the Pistons and the rest of the team followed his lead.

Now the team has to do at least an adequate job of treading water until Chauncey Billups get back. It probably won't be until the end of next week before he is on the court playing.
