NBA Elite 11

Has anybody here played NBA Elite 11? (the full game) and if so what are your thoughts on it? Is it a nice bridge to NBA Live 13 or was the full game worse than NBA Live 10?

I got the five finger discount nba elite 12. Almost threw up everything I ate for a week. It was horrible. It was in my 360 for maybe 30mins tops. Probably top 3 worst games ive played. Nothing and I mean nothing was even decent in that game.

Was the game worse than NBA Live 10? Live 10 is a really good game.

LIve 10 was an excellent game. It had its problems but it was a good game overall. I, like everyone else, wish EA would have built on top of nba live 10 instead of trying to reinvent the whell with elite.

Elite was probably really good on paper, but was just a horrible game. Nothing about that game was good. Graphics were a step back also.

I think that's Elite 11. There's no such thing as Elite 12

BTW, it doesn't look THAT bad. Other than all of the blocks and some weird animations, the game looks decent

Thats what I thought but the comments above confused me -- I knew I didn't miss it, lol.

That Elite 11, it was even posted in 2010 during the previous months before Elite's "release".

I'm sorry but it does look that bad. I'm an EA/Live fanboy and I would say it looked worse than some last gen games.

I think EA decided they could continue making solid games on the foundation laid by Live 10, but they were never going to be able to beat 2K.

So, they opted to try something revolutionary (ie real-time physics) that might be able to give them the edge. Even though it blew up in their face, I have to give EA credit for being willing to take a chance like that. It would have been real easy to have just been satisfied with their share of the market and keep pumping out above-average to good games, but nothing spectacular.

Even though I'm a big fan of the 2K series, I'm really eager for EA to get back into the game. Competition produces better games. Look at what happened the year EA was threatening to release a "revolutionary" game with a rebuilt control scheme and real-time physics ... 2K makes one of the biggest leaps I've ever seen in a one-year cycle with 2K11. Then what happened the next year when EA was nowhere to be seen? 2K12, while still a good game, didn't see the improvement fans were expecting and may have actually regressed in a few areas.

Plus, having more options is never a bad thing.
