Is Kobe really shooting this poorly?

His mid range success on dna is 17 %...surely that cant be right. He cant hit the side of a barn from mid range.

not "impossible". I tried to see if I could google it, but with no success.

His 3pt shooting% is awful rancid, I know that.

Re: Is Kobe really shooting this poorly?

I actually went to ESPN and checked his shot chart for each game and he has actually been stinking it up from mid range so far this season with the exception of last night. Lay ups and FTs have been getting him by so far...I guess when you look at a players PPG it can be very misleading. Kevin Durant is another one that was stinking it up for me.

Negative...look at the one that gives the success rate. That is what I am referring to. We all know that Kobe's mid range shot selection is well over 17% of the total shots he takes. It gives the success rate for short, mid-range, and 3pt. Check it out again.

I don't know, but I'm pissed that in my Dynamic season, I'm missing with him like crazy and it's pissing me off.

He is in a cold streak in real life from mid range. If you aren't taking it to the hole with him, it ain't happening....I was ready to say it had to be something wrong with the DNA until I went and looked at his shot charts and sure enough he hasn't been hitting his mid range like he usually does. Volume shooting and free throws is why he is averaging so many points. I guess this is the gift and the curse of DNA. Never thought I would see people scared to use the Lakers online.

not gonna argue, DNA determines where their offense will come from not the % they will shoot, its where they initiate their offense

KOBE still has a 80 mid range shot rating which is criminally low by the way....

test it yourself give shaq a 75 in 3pt dna and tell me if he takes a three or better yet makes one

I'm not going to argue with you either. These are facts. Why do you think they advertise that your players will play like they are playing in real life? If Kobe is cold in real life, he will be cold in the game. The only way to control that is DNA. Go to the DNA scouting report and hit your R trigger twice to get to the shot success category. Right under shooting success it has 24% jump shots, 64% at the basket, 53% post ups. This is his success rate for these categories so as of friday night. Hit the R trigger one more time and it will break it down even more and give you his success rate for his jump shots in each range. He is 42% short jumpers, 17% mid-range, 18% 3pt. I would have to say these are a huge factor in determining how your player does on the game. If you look at his ratings, his mid-range likelihood is 99 and the way I shot with him in the game I played was not a 99 rated player. And these were open mid range shots that i was taking and I went something like 6-23. I was not forcing the issue...he was open and just missing. The shooting success rate has everything to do with it. I played with Kobe a few times before DNA started updating and there is a HUGE difference.

hahahahaha lol hahahah

his likelyhood is 99 yes-----

his mid range shot rating is 80

likelyhood means the likelyhood that he will take a 3PT SHOT, NOT MAKE IT----- read it again it says " attempt" not make

you just dont know where to see his complete ratings, do you
