Automatic Spots?

I just played back to back games where my opponent went to the same exact spot on the floor to fire 3s (no wasnt the stepback bug) and would make 80%+. First was with Mo Williams, kept going to the elbow extended to 3 line and jacking them and the second game was with Steve Nash going to the bottom corner. So have people started finding automatic spots with specific players or what? I HATE when sports games turn into nothing to do with playing the sport.

I mainly use the Jazz and (pre injury) Kyle Korver was easily the best player on the team for the reasons you state.

I don't care what anyone says on this...there 'are' spots on the floor where some shooters basically can't miss. I've had some games where I'd score 30 + with Korver on 11/12 type shooting. There's spots where it's basically autmoatic.

I agree, I'm not sure why any of the devs have not said anything referring to this, I asked a question in another thread that was closed but never received a response.

Like I've been saying before it wasn't like this in Live 09. So why all the mentions of this for Live 10. A vast majority are experiencing it. Every other question about accessories and player faces will get an answer immediately but this 3pt% is no response at all.

It's kind of like rebounding and fastreak and post game issues...developers aren't going to comment at the moment because there's nothing they can say that's positive.

And if they say "yeah, those areas are screwed..." they'll get hammered.

So, it's understabable why they don't comment on actual gameplay problems.

Expect them to jump in pre realease LIVE 11 saying they are all much better though...LOL

That needs to be fixed with this next patch, forget Live 11. This is really the only thing hindering this from being a great basketball game (user vs user) just drop the 3%'s. Post game is irrelevant due to the perimeter game now. They also need to include a "degree of difficulty shot %" as well, crazy having someone running around with the ball the whole shot clock only to throw up a no look turnaround shot and it goes in a majority of the time. Those shots fall maybe 5% of the time. That along with the automatic turn and face to the basket when you throw the ball into the post needs to be fixed, absolutely hate that!!!

Amen to this! There should be some sort of mechanic built in that adjusts shooting percentage based on how "set" the shooter is. If you've got time to set, aim and stroke a nice shot, you should have a higher percentage than if you're falling away with three guys all over you.

And heck, I don't know - maybe there IS something in the programming for that, but it doesn't seem like it to me.

I am almost certain (someone can cofirmm this?) that the second patch is only to fix the bugs.

It's nothing to do with gameplay.

So.....don't expect these things to be patched. It's kind of time to move on re gameplay issues.
