It's okay, not as consistent or flexible as I would like. That's why I'm waiting on them to release to tutorial to see if I'm just missing some stuff.

Re: Honest thoughts on the post game

by far the worst post game i've experienced in a game. It is waaaaay to limited. There is only like 4 or 5 moves you can do and thats a shame especially having dwight on the cover.

On a scale from 1-10 live's post game is a 3 at the max. HORRIBLE!!!

Re: Honest thoughts on the post game

Very Basic, really not that much of a learning curve. I like a game where when months down the line I'm still learning new moves, i can learn all of Live's post moves in an hour, lol.... and I still dont understand why i get called for offensive fouls when backing down sometimes.... then I do the same exact thing and then its not a foul the next time down court???

I dont like the animations on the post shots, sometimes players will shoot with the back turn to the basket. I dont like the shot arc trajectory on some of the hooks. Also I wish they had Sig style in the post. Everyone does the same moves and you really cant tell the difference between Shaq and timmy D. Also give me my "y" dropstep button back instead of the easy to access oop

I still havent mastered all the moves yet, but its better now after the patch, especially since i dont get ripped as soon as i make a move. Hopefully next year they will give us a deep post game like the "other" game. And also the ability to pass out of a lay-up/dunk animation.

Re: Honest thoughts on the post game

It's way too limited and random.

Re: Honest thoughts on the post game

I like being able to put stuff off the glass on-command.. had a really nice quick spin then hook with Melo that I banked perfectly off the glass to avoid the defender. But yeah, it's pretty limited and those random offensive fouls when backing down are annoying because it's impossible to tell when they'll happen. I'm not as down on the post game as most of you are though I guess... I can do what I want on-command most times and though it's limited, you still have the basic arsenal of hooks, fades, spins, and the up and under.. it's enough to get by. Though when compared with 2K's move list, it's apparent that it needs an upgrade for live 2010.

Re: Honest thoughts on the post game

I like the post game.

the thing is, there are no auto animations.

Everything you do needs to be inputted manually.

You can do some pretty nifty stuff.

I have a clip of a nice post up, fake-under, turn and drive, 2 handed dunk on the highlight thread, as well as a post drop step dunk.

You can pretty much do all of the things that you need to do...when it comes to up and unders, hook shots, face up jumpers, drives, or fall aways.

it could be a little more user friendly (Like some friggen instructions or a tutorial for starters), but you arent limited by any means.

Re: Honest thoughts on the post game

I agree with Sage.

The animations themselves are poor. There isn't enough of a difference in different post players. Post game is way behind the perimeter dribbling game, and the perimeter dribbling game still needs more signature style, despite having the best control and back and forth in b-ball history.

Post game, read and react AI, loose ball logic and signature animations should be TOP priorities for gameplay improvements in Live 11.

KDRE, you know what I have to say about the visual aspect
