Official NBA Live 10 Bugs and Glitches Thread

[Bug]

I too loaded the game this morning and 3mins into the game at staples it started to skip really bad is this just because i have it installed on my hard drive

First let me say, I absolutely love this game and have been playing it nonstop since I got it on release day. I had not really seen any problems with bugs until right now in the training session in my dynasty. Basically my player is invisible. You see the ball bouncing and the defender guarding him, but he's invisible. It's like he slipped on that magical cloak in Harry Potter. You can't replay in training so I'll try to get a camera and take a picture for proof.

Alright here's a video of it. I apologize for that static noise, I'm not sure where that came from (white noise anyone??)

I've only played 4 full 12 min qtr games so far against CPU. But first two of them I've had stretches where when I'm on offense, one of my players i'm not controlling always starts running to other team's basket. If I take control of that guy and bring him back, another guy runs back. Either that, or there's a guy on CPU team that when I inbound ball from their basket, 1 guy stays behind pretty much until I get past half court, then runs back to play D. So it's either I'm hobbled on D or CPU is. Otherwise I've been having a blast!

Also, not gameplay related, but sometimes when I'm creating a player and switching between hair styles, I guess textures don't load right so I just see grid of neon colored placeholders or something. Scared the crap out of me first time I saw it!

Last year the quick menus worked perfectly for me. I pressed a direction they came up instantly and I was able to (sub) easily.


This year there seems to be a huge delay. It my take me 5 possessions just to get some subs changed. Its very annoying! Is this just me or are other people having this problem?

After playing quite a few Live Run games last nice an odd glitch happened. At certain times (unfortunately crucial times) the game switches to CPU vs. CPU and you don't get control back of your players until the next possession. It happened a few games in a row and I'm not really sure what triggers it.

Also, as mentioned by Smak I noticed online people holding the button all the way on shot releases on purpose and the shot still going in. Not sure if that can be fixed but it looks odd.

two of my created players were rated overall 99 even though i gave them average ratings/dna.

brezec is in the sophomore game in 2011 in my dynasty...

Players step out of bounds WAY too much without it being called. This needs to be fixed.

Your teammate randomly running out of bounds to catch the ball... smh.

Goaltending being called on blocked dunks.

Computer still auto-subs even though it is set to auto (online).

Guys just randomly losing the ball inside the paint after taking a dribble.

Offensive rebounds result in an automatic basket inside the paint.

Players should RUN when an intentional foul is called. Not jog and waste 5 seconds before the foul is made.

You shouldn't be able to pass to a player that hasn't crossed the half-court line unless you did so using icon passing. Too many times I'm trying to pass it around the perimeter and the CPU decides that I wanted to pass to a guard or center that hasn't hustled back on offense.

On-the-Fly substitution menu being interrupted WAY too often. It should always stay up until the user closes it, not because of some highlight.

Game stuck in the hangar loading before a match against someone online.

Players saving the ball and giving it to the OTHER team. Also attempting to save the ball when it was last touched by the other team... cmon now.

Same thing happened to me. Only when I play off the hard drive, not the disc.

you tend to lose the ball inside alot because you cant dribble around downlow with Defenders around. Collion sensitivity is really lifelike so it will bounce off someones foot or get tipped away when you lose momentum bumping into someone.

it can be frustrating but its lifelike which i love...you just gotta adjust to it

The Substitutions need to be fixed...even when there manual they happen automatically which annoys the hell outta me when im running.

The players out of bounds happens alot because of the momentum and foot planting technology.. you cant stop on a dime like bfore in 2k... youve gotta take it into consideration.... can be frustarting but its simple physics and another thing that makes Live the most Sim basketball title to date.
