NBA Live '13 Wishlist

Generally speaking, I'd like to see the design focus to continue to be on gameplay for another year. (post game etc)

Features are nice (especially practice) but not at the expense of gameplay.

If you build it (the perfect game), they will come.

-IN-GAME INJURIES where a player will be out for that game and longer. It's a travesty this is not in the game.

I want to able be to upload broadcast cam replays to easportsworld. Why can't we do this in Live 10?

Beef up the presentation with a new commentary team,add espn broadcast with foxsports nbatv and abc,would be awsome,like from an example if u play the pistons at home on a Tuesday night it might be foxsports Detorit.

Improve the gameplay a little more

do something with the draft make smock draft show on ESPNbefore the draft

show sportscenter wraping up highlights of the nights game and stats.

Bring a legends team into the game

bring the allstar weekend back along with be a pro mode

Just curious, does the NBA Live crew actually respond to this thread? Or do the 2k developers instead take a peek in here?

"Heavily" improved commentary. This is one of the factors why some gamers automatically knock Live down because it's the same old commentary they hear and thus totally ignoring the game.

Creation of custom teams. If Stern is even thinking of the possibility of having an expansion team of NBA in Europe, it's more than a possibility for a video game.

NBDL. 'Nuff said.

Improve off-season events.

Saving with game in progress.

Dynasty Mode improvement. How about some random things like teams moving on to another franchise, new uniform and court generation.

Acquisitions of FIFA international players. Get to play them and increase their value and get into the draft.

New features like HORSE.

Customization. EA has Maxis which has produced The Sims and Spore. Get designers there and maybe take an idea of how their build and design modes work. Not only this, the procedural programming they used in Spore is amazing. That technology could be really useful in Dynasty mode.

Have two rosters available for the team. First roster is before the season starts. Second is after the February trade deadline.

I'm expecting tons of new features on your next release since the foundation was remarkably done well this year. Hope to get a response that at least you read our posts. Good luck!

I think for NBA Live 11 the developpers must work on the collision system between the players and the ball. When you go into replay in 10 after a huge block you can see that the hand didnt really touch the ball and stuff like that.

Second thing would be animations again. I think the gameplay is so great but the 2K animations are still on another level. There are some really great animations in 10 like the momentum shots but some very akward looking ones too.

E.g. when you want to steal the ball from a pass there is no proper animation for that steal attempt. The player just reaches out with the arm - doesnt touch it right - which results in an akward looking ball physiscs effect.

I know I've already mentioned this a few times but, the dynasty mode in desperate need of a makeover. I would love to be able to follow guys careers and in the dynasty mode have like a highlights of the weeks or some sort, so for the people who sim can actually see something besides text updates.

Also a manual minute adjuster, I think this would be a great feature. So people like myself can no longer complain about how Kobe Or Lebron is only getting 28 minutes a game. That's all for now I will be requesting a lot more.

-EVERYONE has their signature jumpshot, freethrow routine, freethrow shot, fadeaway, leaner, floater, teardrop, etc.
-Injuries, Injuries, INJURIES.
-Inbound sets/plays, eawwalk the dog pass.
-More flashy passes.
-Fouls - More foul animations, better and 1 foul animations, make it possible to dunk and get the and 1.
-Tip-in dunks.
-Passing out of dunks and lay ups.
-Smoother looking alley-oops.
-Better footwork.
-Freethrows - bring back the freethrows from Live 07 or 08 or do it like 2K, anything that has the analog stick involved.

Presentation:
-ESPN, ABC, TNT, or NBA TV overlay
-Pre-game, halftime, & post-game show/analysis/highlights.
-Players, coaches, refs, fans, staff, etc, all interact with each other.
-Players, coaches, fans show emotion after winning, losing, game winning shots, fouls calls, winning championships, etc.
-Players walk to the scorers table and sit until checking into the game.
-Players take off their warm ups before they are subbed into the game and put on their warm ups when they are subbed out.
-New commentators and better commentary.
-NO MORE CAMERA CUTS(or team logos going across the screen) - If I am called for a charge don't show the team logo on the screen and cut to the inbound on the other side of the court. Show the players running back to the other side of the court and the other team setting up the inbound.
-Retro All-Star and FIBA jerseys

-New Menu - The same menu in Madden 10's Franchise.

-NBA Pre-Season - Every team competes in 6 Pre-Season games.
-NBA Summer League - The ability to assign players from your team & D-League roster & invite free agents to your summer league team to compete in 5 games against other teams Summer league teams and a D-League Select team
-NBA D-League - Demote players to your D-League roster to work on their skills, Call up players when you feel they are ready to join your roster.
-Enhanced Training Camp - The ability to invite players from your D-League roster & free agents to train with your team and, have more than 15 players and cut players, scout your teams strengths and weaknesses, determine 12-man active roster & 3 man inactive roster.
-Managing Team - Set prices on tickets and merchandise. Schedule team practices and team events. Relocate your team to new cities & new arenas. Create new jerseys.

-More award candidates - Show more award candidates like the candidates for defensive player of the year, sixth man, most improved player, rookie of the year, etc.
-Early Defensive Gameplan - Set defensive strategies & match ups up to a week ahead of time.
-Player Roles - Assign players to roles that include franchise player, starter, 6th Man, role player, prospect & bench warmer. The ability to assign up to 3 team captains.
-Manage Coaches & Staff - Hire & fire coaches(head/assistant) and either select from a free agent pool of coaches or select an interim head coach from your assistant coaches and hire & fire staff(doctors/trainers/scouts/offensive & defensive coordinators).
-Coach Free Agency - The coach free agency should include real life coaches currently unemployed like Avery Johnson, Kevin McHale, Jeff Van Gundy, Isiah Thomas, etc, & recently retired players like Chris Webber, Eric Snow, Jamal Mashburn, etc.

-More Contract Lengths - 10 days, 1 year, 2 years, 3 years, 4 years, 5 years, 6 years, 7 years.
-More Contract Options - Signing bonuses, no trade clauses, opt out clauses, early termination clauses, bird rights, early bird rights, etc.
-Team Exceptions - Luxury tax, traded player exception, disabled player exception, mid-level exception, bi-annual exception, rookie exception, minimum salary exception, etc.
-Free Agency - Restricted free agents, battle with other teams to persuade someone to join your team.
