Re: NBA Live Patch 1.02 Discussion

For the guys seeing less contested shots being made and less shots being successful from inside by weaker interior players, what are your shooting settings at?

I've made some drastic changes to the shooting sliders (short/middle/long) prior to this patch.

I'm assuming I should probably just start at default in exhibition to see how things look.

Oh, and is this now officially out for PS3 or only a few lucky ones have it?

I think it was said earlier that Sony put it up then at some point took it down, thats how.

.. and yeah start at default and see how you like things after a few games first.

Can I be a mod? Seriously. I need to make sure I apply for this position next time.

Any more thoughts on the new patch from anyone that was lucky enough to get it?

I'm curious to know what exactly people are talking about with inside shots being less successful.

Re: NBA Live Patch 1.02 Discussion

What does a mod have to do with anything YP?

Let me try a short description. Most of the time I drive... there aren't a ton of blocks. You either miss, make it(not happening a great deal because the AI is on you, or get fouled (fouling which is happening alot).

Shooting a ton of Jumpers in DET vs Bos and in a 5 min qtr there are about 17 fouls total in the game. Average that out in a 9 minute game or whatever and you might kind of get the picture. This is with not driving a great deal.

Earlier playing with Miami... lots of shots on contact rimmed in and out, or spun off the rim. You can still do some of the stuff with stars but I havent had a scrub go off on me inside yet.

Im just trying to make sure im seeing what im saying before i go on about it.

Re: NBA Live Patch 1.02 Discussion

Well I downloaded the patch for the PS3, deleted my cache and actually downloaded it a 2nd time just to make sure. I'm still having problems with the in-game replays stuttering or running choppy It's still not running smoothly and it was confirmed by Steph that this was in the patch.

Has anyone else on the PS3 platform had this problem after installing the patch?

Mine is still choppy.

How do you delete the cache for the PS3? I didn't know you could do that.

Btw, I just realized that the more in-game replays you watch/trigger thru L1, the more halftime highlights. I have my auto replays off, that's why I never saw halftime highlights. But one time I was watching triggering replays thru L1, and at halftime saw those replays again. This is pre-patch btw, don't know if anything has been changed since then.

Open your browser, hit the triangle button and go under tools. You'll then see where you can delete your cache.

I must have missed about this being a pre-patch. What's the deal on this by the way?
