Commentary recognizing team injuries/hot/cold players, pretty cool.

So I was playing the injury-depleted Spurs (no Manu, Tony), a few days ago, and at the beginning of the game Marv was doing his "So Steve, what must the Lakers do against the Spurs tonight..." thing, and Steve says something along the lines of "Well they're facing a team that's been hit by the injury bug, and usually teams tend to let their guard down, but it's important for them to stay focused etc..."

I also played the Pistons earlier with the latest rosters, where Iverson had a blue arrow pointing down (cold streak).

Iverson takes his first shot, misses a contested 3 pointer. Steve goes "That's a bad shot to take, for someone who's been struggling lately he would've wanted to get an easier look at the basket..."

I played them again (rematch), and this time Iverson makes his first shot. Steve says something along the lines of "That's a good start for him, he's been struggling lately and a wide open shot is just what he needed for his confidence..."

Those aren't exactly word for word, but that was the gist of his commentary. I thought it was pretty cool to hear, makes the commentary more dynamic. I haven't heard any commentary for hot players though, but I assume there are.

Anyone know if hot/cold streaks occur in Dynasty? It would be cool to have these commentaries in Dynasty.

* I've already heard about 5 different lines on cold players.

Yeah, this was one of my favorite audio features this year. There are hot streak comments as well.

Depending how the player does in your game, in the 4th quarter Steve will talk about it as well. So if Iverson is cold but plays well in your game, in the 4th Steve will mention that it looks like he might be coming out of his slump.

Nice! I didn't finish the entire game so I never got to that point. Nice touch EA!
