Don't resign players in off-season

How do you not resign your players in the offseason? I resigned the 2 I wanted to resign, and I don't want to resign the other 2. I let the resigning period go by, by simulating it, but at the end, they're always resigned to a random contract. Is there an option before you start the Dynasty to resign players manually that I missed? Thanks.

My guess is u left re sign players on cpu in stead of manual or user control. If u leave it on cpu they will do those things for u. Basically u don't have total control.

i had this problem to so when i sign the players i want i go into the rosters and just release the ones i dont want
