Official NBA Live 09 Impressions Thread

I just landed the game early, its sitting in my box and I am watching that God forsaken 365 live video. Did they have to leave that in the retail game.

Please tell me you don't have to sit and watch that live 365 @#$% everytime you start up the game. Can you skip it?

Well, I have only fired it up once and hit every darn button on the controller and could not get past it.

Here is some request I had:

Presentation:

The game fires up just like the demo does, but the they show the lights off and they show the starting lineups....but they only showed 1 guy per team for me. They show a cutscene of the guys wishing each other luck...typical butt slap, type of stuff.

It then cuts into the the tipoff.............Like I said not much different the demo. I downloaded the dna thing, and it dropped my Bulls from a 77 to 75. Announcing seem very much like last years so far...only 1 qtr played so far, so much chance to hear a whole lot.

I am very impressed with the off the ball movement...my players actually seem like they have a purpose.....

Example:

I was posting up with Drew Gooden, and Larry Hughes sliced down the lane for a nice quick pass and dunk. It was all very fluid and natural.

It only plays once. You never have to watch it again.

I freaking love the video editor. I could play with it for days. It's so easy and quick to make a cool looking replay, the more I play with it, the more I figure it out.

You guys are making it very hard. I do not want to drive to the Northern Ohio spot. I am trying to suck it up and not go there. By the way. Are you guys playing this on PS3? And can you shoot me a pm as to where you got this game. Peace!!!
