NBA Live 2010 GamePlay Wishlist...

This is the NBA Live 2010 Gameplay wishlist....I know the game isn't out yet but the demo should give people the idea of the final Gameplay...I posted it early also because the producers need it by the Pre-production stage of the game...Again I want this thread only about Gameplay...I will make a Modes and Animations wishlist later....Also for you 2K fans if you don't like Live help out the producers and tell them want to add for gameplay and you want changed....I don't want anyone spamming up this thread...Remember this is your chance to get your Gameplay ideas in NBA Live 2010...I will close the thread and give all the ideas to the producers by the end of November....Again this is your chance so don't be lazy and complain later...Thanks...

I guess Ill post a few things..

-Ball physics: They really need a complete overhaul for 10. Also get better net animations and rim physics.

-Passing: Passes need to be a lot more crisp.

-Better Helpside Defense: Def. on pick and rolls

-Close to the basket jump shooting should be improved. This is something niether game has right. I'm talking about when players are right around 10 feet from the bucket.

Think about when you are playing real life ball. When you are about 10 feet from the basket, chances are you aren't going to shoot like you would from 20 feet out. This would most likely lead to a blocked shot. You would probably shoot more of a quick release or get more elavation on your shot, or maybe even lean right/left/closer/futher.. I'd like for something like this to be implemented.

More options for defensive matchups. Closer to what you guys had in inside drive B. tight med and loose are not enough. We should also be able to determine how we want to defend pick and rolls per player like for pierce we want to fight over the top but for rondo we want to go below all screens.

Would love to have more control over shot selection. maybe shot stick is too much for live but how about turbo and layup/dunk button equals a dunk attempt and layup dunk with no turbo is a layup attempt. Anything to give me
something closer to shotstick type of control and maybe for the newbies this can be turned on or off.

Would love to see other ball handler initiate the offense like lamar for the lakers.

I also would like some defensive controls to combat the pick and roll. It seems the defense gets stuck once that screen is set sometimes when I would like to go over the top or go underneath.

Fronting the post would be lovely and not allow a pass through the fronters body. The options like full front side front baseline front. The balance here is have the offense swim and spin to be able to get post up position just further out.

It would add pressure if the cpu would anticipate a play we run too often lets say its a play where we have a non shooter passing into the post have the d play off and in the passing lane to force us to do something else or make a dangerous pass.

Double teams should be more specific like left box , right box corners wing... etc etc. have cpu double at different times like immediately on the pass or after the dribble.

Plays we run often should be more difficult especially during the playoffs to force us to use different variations or sets to win.

I'd like to piggyback off that.

I'd like to see players front the post when a guy scored maybe 2 buckets in a row.

I'd also like to see some sort of indicator to bring back the Hot Streak when one player hits 3 shots in a row. There needs to be a reward for this, ala, 'he's heating up'.
