NBA Live 2010 GamePlay Wishlist...

SUPERSTAR MODE, I know i am not the first to say it and i definetly wont be the last but still the game HAS to have Superstar Mode next year, it would definetly put Live ahead of the other two games and will attract buyers of the other games

Visuals
1. Better crowd (they look a bit jagged, they're too big compared to the players, and hopefully similar skin texture of the players)
2. Better bench (it's missing a player; add some assistant coaches)
3. Warm-ups for players on the bench to cover up the jerseys without numbers
4. Better faces, calves are still on the thin side IMO, and when seen; the thighs look horrible
5. The shorts move better than the jerseys
6. Keep the clappers only for the crowd behind the basket
7. The names and numbers behind the jerseys are still too small

Presentation
1. Just watch a game from ESPN (get rid of the cheerleading routine)
2. Even though the commentary is better in Live, I hope you can still improve it by adding another announcer

Animations/Gameplay
1. Fluid animations (especially down in the post) and get rid of the animations that are obviously traveling
2. Realistic block animations (and direction of the ball when blocked) and foul animations
3. More post moves (fakes and shots)
4. More responsive quickstrike and some of the moves are too slow
5. Breaking a dribble animation by driving left or right (it's in 08, but not in 09)
6. Animations for players bumping into each other (so that pick n roll won't be overly effective)
7. Different reactions to different dribble moves because it seems like when you use any dribble move, it cancels out and goes to lockdown when you're near a defender (inside-out dribbles seem to be useless in the game)
8. Players slow down when you make a pass to them during a fastbreak
9. I have no problem with the jumpball system, but it prevents tie-ups between small and big players
10. Tip-ins and tip-in dunks
11. Players diving for the ball

Signature stuff
1. Keep signature jump shots for a single player and create different generic jump shots and use them for players without signature jump shots
2. Signature dribbling
3. Bring back d wade's step back jumper (not sure about this)
4. For some players with horrible signature jump shots, all you have to do is copy the form of the shot of their go to move (ex. deron williams, billups, baron davis)

I'm not sure if anyone else noticed this but none of the layups used th backboard so they look really weird and there is not post up fade away if the backboard shot so i would really like to ave layups that use the backoard and fade away shots that us backboard like tim duncans but mostly the lyups with backboard layups while posting just go high in air and go in by swish so they look weird

yes I noticed that too and a normal shot is always swish.

I have something about Vince carter's jumpshots.
His normal shot is a fadeaway and his signature shot too.
I mean both look good but I find it better if you give him "his normal shot" and a fadeaway as signature shot.

My biggest glaring error with Live 09 is I don't always have enough time to play it. Damn, I love this game. I also like 2k9.
But for the first time in years, I prefer Live.

A couple of things I'd like to see addressed:

A) Isolation - Using the Raptors, I was caught off-guard with Bargnani guarding Wade. The Heat called an isolation play, but Wade didn't even try to burn by Bargnani, which he should have done easily. I would like to see mismatches like this exploited. If I'm stupid enough to guard burners with plodding big men, I should pay.

B) CPU offensive rebounding too good, even with maximum slider adjustments. This is something that needs to be looked at.

I love that global player rating edit tool.
I wish there was a way you could do it in one fell swoop for the entire league, instead of just one team at a time.

1)Player models need to be redone completely. They are too thin and lanky. They look more artistic than realistic. That's good for NBA Street not for an officially licensed NBA game. The art leads need to look at all the getty images they can this year....

2)Player animations have to be TRIPLED. Here's a list:
a)layups
b)altered shots
c)player collisions(bumping,blocking etc)
d)player fast break animations
e)player defending stances and arm movements
d)Inbound passing and movement around the basket to be mindfull of the this.
e)free throw situations
d)replays and animations of game interaction after fouls or stoppages in play

Can't lie...I'm having some great fun with the game. But theres onnnnnnnnnnnne thing that pisses me off.

1)Beluba, fix those god awful net animations. It's like I'm shooting at one of those hoops with plastic nets.

yes the net doesn't move with the ball.
if you shoot in 2k the net goes by a swish over the rim...
