don't have the game this year but i know last year playmaker said it makes the big's battle to establish low post posistion on offense/defense.

Re: Sink or swim effectivess

From my expereince it controls how effective the freestyle moves are (sink or swim moves), not just post moves but any of the right analog stick moves are. When I notice my games look more like an "& 1" video than a NBA game I cutback on the CPU slider and it makes them play more of a fundamental game, passing the ball around looking for open shots since one on one moves aren't as effective. I also use the user's slider to control how easy it is for me beat my man off the dribble. If I find I am abusing this and just running to the basket on every play I cut it back some making it harder to beat my man off the dribble.

i dont think thats wut it does from my experience because if it was freestyle effectiveness then great ballhandlers and star players that are guards would have high ratings and they dont they have low ratings...so maybe it has something to do with rebounding or low post position or something because only big men have high ratings

Re: Sink or swim effectivess

there a simple test: leave all other sliders the same as you already have them. Set sink or swim to 0 and observe whether or not freestyle is effective in a play now game, then max it out and test. I'm betting you'll conclude the same thing I did. Not just post but open floor as well.
