you can definitely tell the difference by playing the cpu against players like lebron or kobe b/c they won't try and dunk every time they touch the ball.

these edits actually helps teamplay and makes players play even more like their real life counterparts.
for ex: the cpu took advantage of lebron's scoring and playmaking abilities.

play smart b/c its harder to score.
I noticed cpu pg calling plays.
More postplay by cpu and c's and pf's are more agressive.
At the end of the game the star players for the cpu touched the ball more.
cpu played better defense.
you'll also see go to moves being used by the cpu more often.
less shot attempts by cpu.

I used beantownbassy(his username is X I ball4real right now) and bestkepsecr313 edits mostly.

try to edit all players.if not try to get all starting lineups and key players.
