Tomba's Team/Individual Player Sliders - "Making the game run better"

Athleticism

Max speed - 0 (always)
Quickness - 90-99
Acceleration -90 -99 (Should ALWAYS be higher than quickness though)
Vertical - 40
Lateral Quickness - 99
Recovery Quickness - 99
First step -35
Dribbling Speed - 95 - 99 (Big men again less)

Inside

Lay-Up/Dunk Agressiveness - 0
Lay-Up in Traffic - 35
Penetration Effectiveness - 40
Offensive Sink or Swim - 35
Offensive Post footwork - 99

Defense

Fighting through the screen - 50
Defensive Post Footwork - 99

Teamwork

Hustle - 99

In order for these to work, three things must be set

The camera ,brightness/contrast and game speed(it causes the framerate issues you see)

Press cam - Height - 9
Zoom - 8

Brightness - 4/8
Contrast 6/8
I should note that this WILL effect the view of the game greatly. I noticed that reg contrast and brightness settings caused the game's framerate to be erratic. You can tell in this setting above, that the ball looks more believable in it's rotation and also in the way the players move. This is not a joke. Tried and tested.

Gamespeed - 90

This makes ALL the speed settings done to individual players run smoother. Animations seems to have a steadiness to them now.

If you like playing a better paced game and one that plays out like you can see more of what happens please do not hesitate to give these settings a try.

***Use along with PM gameplay sliders and playbooks***

Are you trying to lower the speed and then to compensate for that increase the speed of the players like I did last year?

Also for vertical are you saying decrease everyone by 20 points or lower everyone to 20?

Yeah I'm going to let Tomba do all the work on players this year and then I'll just free-load off of his rosters once he's done.....

It was hell last year doing all those players and I"m taking a break this year from that and let someone else do the work....

But good stuff Tomba I read your PM but I didn't understand what you were doing so if you can explain more it'll be helpful buddy.

2nd question first.

It should be be brought down TO 20.

1st question. In a sense yes,but there are other things that needed tweaking in order for it to all look more natural(although it won't ultimately look lifelike)

LOL yeah and just about 2 hrs ago i lost 4 teams worth of editing cuz my 360 suddenly froze. if thsi keeps us you guys might in for a letdown.

i hope to finish sometime soon...

As far as the PM PM(hahahaha) I just ment that for me the diffcultyI use is made to be more arcadey since this game can not be brought to being a true sim just yet. howver these speed tweaks should not effect numbers at all that much if set to your more realworld settings

Start with only two teams say the starting 5 and go from there and tweak to what I have here.

Difficulties do not matter (that is your own decision). This is strickly to make the game run better.

I spent about two days straight trying to make this work and it is amazing the clarity in which players now move and act from the default settings that EA assigned.

I will eventually do all NBA teams with these settings and distribute them here as a save file for all 360 owners once I am finished. Just wanted you all to not be frustrated and not enjoy the game like I am a now while I prepare the save file.
Hey Tomba 321 mad props to you man, I am awe struck, I only made changes to 1 player and changed the brightness/contrast as you stated. First off I must say, How in the hell did you figure this out? The players flow a lot more smoothly than before. I did'nt even change the the other players.

I suggest people make some of the changes he offered, I even tried it on other camera's and it works, I had really no problem with the game before but those of you who have, try it out.

Couple of questions I wanted to ask. Why all the other changes, it seems to me the Brightness/contrast was a lot of the problem? Also, won't all the players be equal, say vertical and things like that if you make all of them the same?
