PM have you started any sliders?

just curious if you've given sliders any thoughts yet, or what do you see has issues that need to be adressed. what are your thoughts on default game speed, faster or slower?

my thoughts: seems for realistic subs and scores quarters need to be set longer than 8 mins.

i'm sure i'm not the only one waitng to see what adjustments you might make.

You gotta give him time man he does more than just tweak the sliders for Live he does the cpu's offense and defense and stuff. Plus it looks like he stayed up pretty late trying to figure out the sliders this year. He posted already in the impressions thread about what your speaking about right now. Just give him time everyone knows the guy will get it done. He posted a few things in here that were interesting to read.

Re: PM have you started any sliders?

I’ve found 10 min quarters work for a realistic score say, 102 -94 or what have you. Other stats seem to fit as well in terms of rebounds and assists. Only problem I’m having is starters going 36 min and maybe 3 subs getting 2-4 min. I also didn’t notice a fatigue slider, does this mean someone is going to have to go through every player’s fatigue rating to fix this? And maybe it’s realistic, but it seems the cpu doubles to quickly in the post. If the center is better than average player you can’t even get in the ‘back-down’ before the ‘I’m about to lose possession’ animation. Fouls were few and far between, I think this slider needs to be increased alot. Shot maybe 3, computer 2 in my 10 min game.

Do you have AUTO SUBS turned on?

I have only played 5 minute qtr's so far but I do agree the minutes will have to go up because the scores are will be really low. As for the CPU double teams they will come quicker this year to force you to pass the ball and take a jumper. It can be a pain in the azz but they doing what helps them to win games on defense. I usually just draw the double kick it out and then go right back to post and make my move quicker.

As for Sliders I'm working on them I just needed time to figure out the new slider sput in for this year. I spen last night messing with me and seeing how they work. There are some very good sliders EA added this year for gameplay and they work pretty good.

I also forgot to mention you need Auto Subs turned on and Increase Fatigue Effect.

Re: PM have you started any sliders?

The quick double teaming in the post is frustrating because I like to work the post game sometimes as well. I would rather kick it out for the jumper 70% of the time, but the other 30 I'd like to work it down low. That's kinda frustrating, but it's nothing unmanageable.

Also, the PGs are scoring a crap load from the top of the key. This might be my crappy defense, but it's something I've noticed.

For right now you could increase your On BALL DEF ASST Slider to 100 and Lower the CPU's MID Range Shooting to 45

I like the Speed at 100 using the Press Camera view with the Height at 10 and Zoom at 3

I set my Man to Man Defense for C's and PF's to High Pressure and PG's, SG's & SF's to Medium Pressure.

I was ready to take Live 07 back, it felt weird having to wait to square up, it felt like there was helium in the ball with the high arching shots, when I raised the speed top 75, Live felt familiar again. I've heard so many people taking it back due the "lag" when all they had to do was raise the speed. what a shame, i'm glad to see it at 100, it makes such a difference.
