Super Star Level 360 PLayer Lock Sliders

PLAYMAKERS PLAYER LOCK SUPER STAR SLIDERS

These sliders are for those wanting to play on Super Star Level. Unfortunatley the only way to play on Super Star Level is with the Player Lock Feature turned On.

Because of the screw up in collision dection on this Level unlike All-Star Level you can't play it any other way or else no fouls will be called on the Human Player.

These Sliders are also based off my Global Ratings for all players. If your using DEFAULT ROSTERS with out any edits these might not work for you.

Sup PM. As you already know, I am a big fan of your sliders/ratings. Did you happen to work out all the bugs on Superstar? I remember you saying a while back that Superstar level does something weird or something to that effect. Thanks for your effort!

Yeah you it won't allow you to play the game normal on Super Star Level because it won't call any fouls on the human players.

But if you switch it to the Player Lock Feature it will play smooth and call fouls on both teams.

With Player Lock your players act mostly on their own. There is no switching on Offense or Defense. Some guy's will definetly stand out more for your team than others because you have no control over their shot accuracy. You can tell them when to shoot or pass but you can't decide how it's done.

On defense you can call zones, traps and different types of man defenses but you can't challenge shots or go for steals with anyone other than your Player Lock man.

But it's a great way to play especially if your looking for something different. This is where your players ratings really stand out the best simply because you can't play as any other team member.

Just played a half with Cavs(me) vs. Pistons. Lets just say that the Pistons are the BEST team in the NBA. They went 6/8 from 3PT. They led by 24 points lol. I felt like Mike Brown did after Game 1. I really like how PL makes the game more authentic, ya know?

What really suprised me was Rip. This guy was cutting and coming off picks for shots. He drove occasionally if the offense wasnt flowing smoothly. I think he had 13 at the half with 45% shooting. I dont know why but the CPU went to the line ALOT. The Pistons were 21/27 from the line(How ironic huh?) But overall, the level of competition on Superstar is dramatically increased. Keep up the great work, PM! EA might call you in for NBA Live 07

I have them attacking the rim more than they ever did when the game was at DEFAULT ratings. So, they can definetly get to the FT Line. But 27 FT's isn't really that high compared to real life. Most teams shoot between 25-30 FT's per game on any given night.

They definetly play much smarter on Super Star Level but you can't play the normal way it has to be with Player Lock. But that's not a bad thing really. I'm still playing a game with Detroit vs Miami and Dwayne Wade is sick in this game. He's giving my AI controlled Rip Hamilton hell in my game. The CPU actually throws alley oops out of half court sets if your careful.

I definetly think anyone wanting to play Live should give this FEATURE a shot it's very realistic IMO and you definetly need skilled AI teammates since you can do all the shooting and defense by switching off.

YOU MADE A GREAT DISCOVERY BUT I WAS MESSING AROUND AND I REALIZED THAT ALL U HAVE TO DO IS GO TO GAMEPLAY CONTROLS IN SUPERSTAR MODE BEFORE EVERY GAME, CYCLE THROUGH OFFENSE AND DEFENSE, TURN VIBRATION ON, THEN BACK OFF, AND THEN CYCLE THROUGH THE PLAYER LOCK POSITIONS UNTIL U GET BACK TO NO PLAYER LOCK, THEN OF COURSE YOU HIT START TO ACCEPT IT, AND NOW YOUR PLAYERS WILL CHALLENGE SHOTS WITHOUT YOU CONTROLLING THEM!!

With these changes this is by far the most realistic and best basketball experience i have ever had, man you guys have to play this on superstar. the defense is great and the computer offense makes great decisions.

PM, what do you recommend for realistic gameplay as far as minutes and gamespeed on Superstar? I am planning on starting a season real soon! Thanks!
