NBA Live 95', best Live game ever! I remember asking my mom to buy it for me for Sega Genesis.

I was a 989 kid at the time, I loved NBA shootout.
So the consensus is that I missed out on the best that live had to offer, for I really didn't get into it until 2000.

Both nba 2K7 or nba live 07 suck big time,the only realistic game is nba 2K3.

Here some negative and positive points of both games.

NBA 2K7 signature moves from most of players is good,but the gameplay really sucks,too many fastbreaks and steals,and the commentary is the worst i ever hear..In seasonmode you can't adjust the player-lineups from the other teams.

NBA Live 07 : Steve kerr and that other guy had the best commentary i ever heard,a perfect team if you ask me and the overall gameplay is good but there is something missing,no-one of the players does ever a move,they shoot or give a pass,and nothing else,no crossover,fade-aways etc...Of course the players animation really sucks,if you see how mcgrady looks,it isn't not in the long run how he actually player look and he his the mainplayer of the game.

So both devolopers had much work to do,if you ask me.

P.S.stadium at both games are really bad,if you look at nba 2k3,the stadiums are almost perfect,far more better than this year's games.

I've never played nba live(except for a quick run at one of the local video game stores) so I can't speak on it really.
But ummmm, I played 2k7 for months and I have to wonder if we even played the same game based on your observations. I will say that the commentary sucked and the stadiums were off. Oh and the steals were a little too easy, but umm, too many fast breaks??? That was one of the MAIN complaints about this game, was the catch up AI on fast breaks. It didn't seem to matter if you had a speedy gaurd with a 10 ft head start on Shaq, he would catch up near the top of the key and block your way to the bucket. I'm not sure if they ever patched it(my MAJOR complaint about 2k7 was the lack of support from 2K ie. roster updates/patches etc..) but I stopped playing it in January or so...

imo 2k7 is the best to date. the passing game/steals definately need work, and editing/rosters need much improvement, but overall a great game.

2k3 was ok but after about 10 games, every game was the same. also had the "ball flying into the rafters" glitch on xbox.


2k3 was not even the best bball game that yr, imo. id took top honors for 03.


i enjoyed live 2000(pc),2004,2005 (both xbox)

i am hoping ea comes back big for 08 just to keep 2k on their toes.
