does everyone online play like a moron?

it seems everytime i play someone online they do two things.

1) after a basket is scored they try to steal the inbound pass every single time.
2) they control one person on defense and run them around the court to double whoever has the ball.

i'm not one to cry about it, but this just gets annoying as hell. does anyone out there play sim b-ball? always looking for a good game so hit me up if you see me online.

yeah, i know what you mean man. I don't remember if we have played yet, i dont think so, but I definitely don't play that way. I play exactly as if I was playing against the cpu. Direct passing will take care of the inbounds problem. Everyone tries to do this to me as well, but I have won a few games. I actually beat a guy the other night by about 25 points and he was ranked about 200. i'll look you up sometime.

I hate that as well. I just played a guy who was the Rockets and all he did was control Yah and try to steal the inbound. I am in anytime you guys want to play. We should start our own tournament.

Hey lets calm down! LOL I play that way. I would control one player but it wont be a big man. Yes, I will go for the steal on the inbound but trust me there is a way to get past that. People who try to do that to me are unsuccessful.

On 04 I use to control everyone but in 05 I just stuck to one person cause my bro use to do that all the time and I got piss. Like guard me u b*tch. Online tho I do switch defenders when I see u are taking advantage of them which is very easy to do especially since it is on all-star. On offense tho I will just abuse u and the computer point blank lol.

I do want a more sim game. All online play is, is shooting 3's all day. Its way too easy to make 3's with the all-star level on. I hope they will change that later on, like in a week or two lol. I still dont understand why they would limit you to all-star level, amount of minutes player, and fatigue setting for rated games that is just dumb. But yea after playing Live on xbox live i started to think to get ESPN because its a more sim game. Playing NBA Live with a friend at a house is way more fun then playing onlne. Maybe because frame rate per second is not lower and I actually have complete control over the settings!

that's weak. i don't understand why people do it in the first place. i can understand if you're trying to catch back up and are trying to provide some pressure, but doing in the entire game is just plain annoying. when have you seen a team in real life that pulls that garbage the entire game? yes, it's easy to get around, but you shouldn't have to get around it in the first place.

and controlling one man and running him around the court on defense is trash too. nba live is such a fun game on and offline when you play with people who enjoy a sim-style game. it's just hard to find those players because everyone seems to play like garbage.
