This is a joke. Not only is help D bad, but players make all those spectacular shots...

You must have ran into a Kobe Lebron Tmac dunk layup abuser. This is what I do i works pretty good for me run a 3/4 court defense that way the ball handler will be picked up before he crosses half court. This next step is very important. Take control of the center shadow the paint. Next switch your defense to 2-3 zone while still controlling the center shadowing the paint when the other player starts driving try to take a charge that will mess his shot up and after about 3 or 4 possessions of you stooping it they will usually find another way to score. On transition put it at about 5 percent fast break because your rebounding will be a lil off from being in zone D. If the other player goes baseline a lot play 1-3-1 . If you want to play a un ranked game put me on your friends list and I can give you a lil better description.
