Pick And Roll Online Is Garbage

Im sitting there with a defender that I bring over..and sit between the passer and the cutter and the ball goes right through every time.

Your defenders doing anything is hit and miss.

Just played a guy and that was the only way he could score. Pick and roll. Couldnt beat me off the dribble, couldnt find an open shot.

The pick and roll is not used by me more than 2 times(or 0 times) , and people who play against didnt use it more,but i know how to stop more or less the pick and roll.
When the user call a pick you take to controll the pick man defender and then call for a doble team(circle in PS3) , Now you only have to take a good situation for the pass line to the free man.
With this, the ball man will be double and he cant do nothing only to pass , but the roll man dont cut to the basket.
This tactic isnt 100% effective, but has a 80% or more.
Try to do it and tell me your exit (or not).

Don't go for the interception of the ball, stand off of the pick man and block him out of the paint when he gets the ball.

First... play on superstar.

Second, find the right pressure adjustment for the roller.

Third, body up on the ball handler. Make it hard for him to USE the pick, you know? Hump him a little. The pick doesn't work if you are against him, as far as I know...

I would go as far as to say the pick and roll is just as effective as it should be in real life. Nothing like NBA 2k8... lol.
