The OBA for those who do not already know stands for the Online Basketball Association, and what we will be providing are Sim and Active Leagues & Tournaments. The reason for the OBA is so that a community of gamers can play against one another and not have to worry about running into one of those player who need to use glitches and cheap play to win games. We are simply a group of Sim gamers who play basketball games to a realistic level, which is becoming its own kind. The OBA also might be providing "money" leagues/tournaments in which prizes will be awarded to the winner(s). More details on what exactly the OBA will be running will be revealed the closer games are available.
The Leagues & Tournaments that will be hosted for the most part depend on the amount of activity.
Currently the OBA has the idea of running two different types of leagues. Each league is slightly different in which you can learn more by reading below.
Professional
Amateur
Amateur - The Amateur league(s) is not necessarily just for "beginners" but for those just looking to have fun in OBA. This league will still have some tough competition and will be a lot of fun to participate in as well. You will get plenty of experience and when the time comes, maybe you will move up to the Professional League. There will be a lot to offer to keep the interest level up and to get consistant activity with the members.
Professional - The Professional League is completely different from the previous league. There is only one League like this in the OBA, and the main difference is that money is involved for cash prizes towards the end of the season for the Playoff Teams. But all members are guaranteed to receive money after completing at least two seasons. Basically, the longer you play in the Professional League, the more money you receive even if finishing in last place. This League may kick off early on in the game's release, but after the first month or so; the only players allowed into the league must have gone through the Amateur to prove they are a quality member.

16 Team League --- $25 a member --- 8 Teams make playoffs
1st Place - $60, 2nd Place - $40, 2 Semi Final Teams - $25 - 4 1st Round Playoff Teams - $20
(If non playoff teams complete following season - Additional $20) (Any other team that completes following season - Additional $10)
As of right now, the longer you participate in the OBA, the more money you will receive just from being an active member. Fees and Pay Outs can change as each season goes by. I want to reward those that have been playing in the OBA for being a valuable member to the league. I will also be using my own money to help pay for awards through out the league.

If you are interesting in joining either the Amateur League or Professional League, please contact me with your Gamertag, email, Aim (if available), and what League you are interested in. I am looking for at least 16 members to start out with in each league. You must be a dedicated member and be willing to be as active as possible to help the league thrive. Most importantly, play to have fun and if you are NOT sim; you will be removed from the league you are in.
