Last year we could preorder it a Week before launch, but it didn't give Us anything. Year before that we got it about 2 weeks after launch so we just have to wait and see.

Why would you have to pre order a digital copy anyway if it doesn't give you anything extra? It's not like it's gonna run out of bytes.

If you preorder a game on Steam, it'll download the game the day before and unlock the day of. That way you aren't sitting there for an hour or two anxiously awaiting the download to finish on launch day. Just a little thing, but it's a nice perk.

That's pretty cool. That's actually a good incentive for pre ordering a digital copy.

Another good thing last year was that us euro players could actually start playing it on the us launch so 3 days ahead of all euro players getting an hard copy
