Idea on how 2K can bring back crew mode

the problem with this is not everyone wants to play against 7' teams. U could place that SF at SG or PG with no penalty. i understand that 6-10 SF do exist in the NBA but few and far between and most have limited mobility. I do believe you should be able to create a 7' small forward if you wish, but the caps on attributes need to be far more harsh. I should be able to guard a 7' SF with a 6'6 defender but in 2k11 this was near impossible. example- Gallinari (spelled correctly?) while very offensively talented is able to be guarded by the likes of gerald wallace.

the problem wasnt the 7' centers bringing the ball up. it was the 7' SF that played point that was the problem. Whats his cap at, 80? 85? If i want to create a realistic 6'3" point guard i have to play damn near perfect defense every time down court to even have a chance and guarding his jumpshot. this is the problem

I do agree with you here, I think SF's should have a ball handling of 75 Max. Also if you were having trouble defending SF's at PG why not just go 1-3-1 zone? That way the CPU would be able to help you defend jumpers.

this was a option, but it sounds like you had a very competitive bunch of users with high skill level. I just had a few friends who enjoyed teaming up and playing the mode. we were not concerned with being the best or beating the best. If we were simply outplayed we accepted the loss and still had fun. but most of our losses came with mere frustration. we shouldnt have to revert to a 1-3-1 zone just to have a small chance. simply put, i think crew would benefit from harsher caps or maybe have a created player only be able to play his position. therefore he wouldnt be able to move his 7' SF to PG. Like i said, i have no problem with the 7' SF as we are seeing more and more of this in real life

I see what you are saying, but no online mode is going to satisfy everyone. Madden is the same way, people cheat there for no reason other than to win. If crew is in 2k13 it will give the game nearly limitless replay value. That's why I think it's got to be in this year, hopefully with some tweaks.

I agree with you there. I didnt play my player this past year for the sole reason that i couldnt take him online and compete with other players. I really enjoyed the mode but i feel there are a few tweaks that need to be implemented in the mode. you said you were a legitimate SF but the problem is not many played the way you did. I do believe harsher attribute caps will help tremendously and force users to use their 7' SF in a more realistic way.

I had about 40 different 99 MP's lol

I enjoyed the mode despite the occasional cheesers I ran into. I guess I just learned to tolerate it.
