Players in association don't appear under Contract Extension screen.

In my association I have 4 players with expiring contracts this offseason but none of them appear under the Contract Extension screen. I lost kyrie Irving last year because he never showed up in the Contract Extension screen at all that year.

they have to be willing re-sign with you before they appear.

in their player profile it will say what their feelings on the matter are, ie gonna retire, test the free-agent market, looking to re-sign, undecided.

Welcome to the wonderful world of the NBA (Cleveland, Denver, Utah, etc.)

As the previous poster stated, not every player is willing to resign - which means sometimes you simply don't have the opportunity to extend them.

Forgive me if I remember incorrectly, but do they still not appear under free agents for bidding? Obviously you would rather extend them, but I thought they were still available as free agents either way.

they should still show up in the Free Agent list but if they didn't want to re-sign then goodluck trying to get them to stay.

I lost Nick Young to free agency and tried to bid on him during the free agency period... he ended up going to Cleveland for like 12 mil a year which was around 9 million more than I was willing to pay him...

It might be because the player has either a team or player option. If so go to your roster. Click on the certain player as if you were going to edit their gear or something in, in the menu go down until you see resign

i know the problem you are facing, it is not due to any of the reasons posted above, if they are not willing to resign, it will still tell you in the contract extension screen. to resign a player that doesnt appear in this screen, go to your roster and press 'A' (x on ps3) then when the options appear, there should be one that says 'sign' if this option does not appear, either they do not want to resign or you are past the resigning deadline.

a small tip to see if they want to resign or not, click the right stick and go to the page that shows their loyalty rating there should be a sentence or two on the bottom about their plans for resigning or testing FA
