Arena atmosphere and detail needs to improve!

Hey everyone!

I've been thinking about this for the past few years, and it seems like it still hasn't been added.

1) the team bench looks so damn lonely! 2 coaches and players. That's it? We need to see trainers, more assistants, other coaches (shooting coach etc) that sit behind the bench with note pads and clip boards! It just looks so damn weird the team is surrounded by fans..especially in a hostile environment..in a playoffs.

2) The tunnel/gate area back to the locker room is always empty: yet in reality there's always 5-10 people there standing. Workers, team management, security etc

3) There are no SECURITY GUARDS/Police guards at games in 2k!...and should'nt there be more camera men?

4) better spacing between bench and fans. I know some fans sit courtside right beside the bench in some arena's. That's cool. But the fans behind the bench are right up on the bench. There should be more team/staff members sitting there and security guards with there backs turned towards the court.

Having these things added would give us the ultimate presentation for arena's. It'll complete the experience. You won't feel alone heading into a game at OKC in the finals. Well...? Thoughts?

What else can be added?

While I agree that there is room for improvement, I think that 2K should focus their efforts on gameplay or the sim engine.

There's a limit to how much details can be shown at one time because of memory/CPU power. if you had all that player models and the court would have to suffer.
You have to wait til the next gen consoles.

Re: Arena atmosphere and detail needs to improve!

Is this thread a joke? Can't believe this is even being mentioned w/o being shot down. Trainers? Security guards? NBA Live lol? This is beyond laughable. 2K year in and year out is easily one of the one or two best games in terms of arena atmosphere and detail and this year they set the standard for presentation in a sports game imo. You have coaches, benches, refs, scorers table, etc. that are all interactive in real-time, all react to what's occurring on the court, etc.. Arena-specific cameras and sounds. No need to even touch on the presentation elements that's brought to the game. Anything can stand to improve. But needs to improve when it's already the standard? Please.
