I can't speak for everyone, but you can watch gameplay videos and see whats fixed and what isn't. For example If I watch the video on Monday and see Tim Duncan keeping up with westbrook, then I know they haven't fixed the speed factor. Even though we aren't playing, the gameplay will at least give us an idea of what the gameplay will be like in the full retail version.

Yeah exactly you can't be 100% sure on everything because it is an early build but I am looking to see things like that. Excessive sliding, better ball movement, passing and some new improved player models and to see how speed was improved upon.

First of all, the majority of people would say EA had better online before they got there butts run out of business. So, if it did not make that big of a difference then why will it make that big of a difference now? Next, the Show like NBA 2K is in the running for sports game of the year damn near every year and the Show has problematic online also. Thus, the facts all point to 2K being a current juggernaut that is so good at what they do best that it gets people to overlook such a nagging flaw as not having the greatest online experience even though it has always been fine for me.

Keep reaching guys. Lastly, if this were a Live forum the Staff members would have long been in here warning people of trolling and telling them to quit mentioning 2K in a Live forum. You people are actually hurting Live more with your stanning than helping
People play video games games for different reasons. It may be for Association purpose, It may be for Exhibition, My Player, Online Mode or for Incredible Gameplay. 2k12 Offers all of that, but there are some flaws in each category. That doesn't mean 2k12 isn't a good game. It's a great game, if not one of the best basketball games of all times and I could never take any credit away from 2k12. They deserve that, but you have to understand that people have their frustrations about the game as well, especially when it's the ONLY GAME OUT THERE. People tend to look at your game more when you are only game on the market. Just because they want to play something else or jump ship should say something about the game as well. Maybe they are tired of the same or lack thereof. They probably want something new and fresh. I know I do. That's how I look at Madden. Lack of competition does that sometimes. I miss the days where there were 2 football video game franchises.

Also, 2K isn't a juggernaut. EA Sports can develop whatever game they want even if it's not profitable. The only reason why NBA Elite wasn't released was because of BAD REVIEWS and lack of development. EA has the money to put out as many NBA ELITES or NBA LIVES they want. They wanted to save themselves from embarrassment. 2K Sports can't afford to do that. The only profitable game they have now is NBA 2k, but they do have the best basketball game on the market and that's a fact. You are blind if you think NBA LIVE won't cut into their sales. That's not helping with their current lineup situation and closure of sport games. At the end of the day I'm getting both games since I've been playing Live back in the mid 90's and 2k since 2000.

How can you not see GAMEPLAY improvements from watching a GAMEPLAY video? Is that the question you're asking because it wouldn't take much to not notice skating or to notice foot planting. It'd be really easy to see canimations, or at least the ones from this year, in the video.

Unless you were referring to something different, every day 2k players probably could spot that stuff in a heartbeat. I figure in a raw gameplay video we'd be able to spot those things -- in a hype trailer, probably not.

If they show a raw gameplay video, expect us at OS to dissect that thing like a frog in a 6th grade science class. Heck, I think they post videos early to hear us complain so they can fix it. They still have 4 months of work time before going gold -- a lot of time, I assume, to fix any major things.

When your the only regular basketball video game available for two years your not going against anyone else. Of course your going to do numbers. The real comparison would be the year there was two basketball titles 2k10 vs live 10. This year with 2k13 and live 13 will be another good measuring stick. But if you want to continue the discussion just pm me so the thread can stay on course.

They better hope no overhead passes are in this video.

Fecal matter might hit the proverbial fan...

If they want an allstar game experience they can buy NBA Jam. NBA 2k is advertised as closest to real life. I want to watch the game and see the AI play like their real life counter parts, not see Westbrook dunk on 4 people coming down the court

Please you can not watch a game and tell if something is truly fixed or not. Maybe the person knows when to push the damn turbo button and that is allowing him to keep up with Westbrook.
