I actually Remember that game as if it was yesterday. Nate's vertical rating really helps him with blocks/rebounds

It also seems guards have a pretty solid ability to block jump shots with their elbows this year, particularly if the shot clock is winding down.

Re: Player Highs (Single Game)

Well mine haven't updated for some reason, they all seem to be online association stats for me which is weird.. example, Ty lawson 11 assists is the best it says I got, yet I got 17 assists with CP3 just yesterday online.

Weird.

Re: Player Highs (Single Game)

I just set my 2K12 high in points. Wilt Chamberlain dropped 59, breaking Vince Carter's 57.

Edit: Welp, nevermind. It seems the official Greatest Mode games don't count toward individual highs.

Re: Player Highs (Single Game)

My personal assist high is 37 with Rondo in a random game with 8 minute quarters--the CPU AI leaves that small gap between shooters and once Pierce and Allen get firing, it's 20-something assists in the first half.

Someone must have recorded >40 assists? or >55 rebounds maybe? That is without some unreal slider setting or maxed out player against a team of midget paraplegics.

It should be noted that on http://www.nba2k.com/, the current assist leader averages 34 or so a game.

Re: Player Highs (Single Game)

Just hit 10-13 triples with Chris Mullin, breaking my high of 7 with '94 Kenny Smith. Further, I happened to beat a team by 36 back in November and I've never come close to equally that margin of victory. . . until I just beat the '91 Suns by 54. I don't usually light teams up like that (as I said, I set a previous high of 36 many months ago), but Run TMC happened to go for 46, 26, and 17 (Mullin, Hardaway, Richmond).

Re: Player Highs (Single Game)

I just whooped @$$ with the 92-93 Knicks against the 92-93 Nets. Doc Rivers scored 21 points, dished 24 assists, and stole the ball 8 times from Kenny Anderson, who turned it over 9 times total and only had a 6 point, 4 assist showing. Petrovic scored 18 and Chris Morris scored 10, but coleman only scored 6. Ewing had 23, Starks had 16, Blackman had 11, Anthony had 5, Smith had 5, Mason had 5, Oakley had 3, and I won 88-57 on all star in 5 minute quarters. Probably one of my favorite games.

I scored 63 points with Paul Pierce earlier in the season in my Association. He was like 12-14 from 3PT, just crazy good.

I know I had 22 assists with Rondo in an earlier game too.

Can't remember anything else off the top of my head.
