Lookin for some advice on a trade...I desperately wanna add Al Horford to my version of the Bobcats (using the bedward roster, no changes yet...just setting up) anyway I'm already willing to shed my 1st round pick for Horford...do I need to add more? I suck pretty bad...lol. aint gonna lie, and with Charlotte? we're talking likely having the most balls in the lottery.

Anyway yeah thats just my starting point...I am running 30 teams. And I really really wanna add Horford (he's one of my fave's...Gators fan here lol)

thats tricky cause the first is high but you never know with the lottery. personally i would never do the trade. not because it isn't fair but just cause it isn't realistic.

also for everyone, should i be the bulls or nuggets in my association?

any ideas for a realistic way for me to acquire Horford then?...all I'm concerned with is making him my teams centerpiece...I am attached to NO ONE on Charlottes team...minus maybe Kemba

i agree but i feel the hawks are looking for someone that could push them over the top, top another draft pick

It's been a while since anyone has posted but hopefully I can get my question answered.

I've really just got past the trade deadline in my first season and I have reached the re-signing period. At this point, am I supposed to re-sign players who say they will re-sign or do I just simulate past this period?

I want to do a 3-team trade between the Lakers, Magic, and Rockets. This is a 30-team association, but I play as the Rockets. Obviously, Howard would go to LA, Bynum to Orlando, and Gasol to Houston, but what other pieces would go where to make a fair trade? I am willing to get rid of Scola and Dragic, but I want to keep Lowry, Martin, and Patterson.

I thought I'd tackle Orlando and handle the Howard situation my way and take the Magic on a rebuild journey, which would be trade him ASAP (literally the start of the Association). I kept teams realistic in my opinion sending him to New Jersey.

The money in this thing was brutal so here's the 3 Team trade involving Orlando, New Jersey, & New Orleans

Magic receive
B. Lopez
T. Ariza
O. Okafor

Nets receive
D. Howard
J. Richardson
E. Gordan

Hornets receive
G. Wallace
K. Humphries
R. Anderson
NJ '12 1st round pick

Magic - +2.4 mil cap space +/-0* -12 OVR player rating
Nets - -4.6 mil cap space +/-0* +21 OVR player rating
Hornets - +2.3 mil cap space +/-0* -15 OVR player rating

First thought is maybe NJ got too much, maybe NO didn't get the right players, Orlando seems like they don't lose tons? The money works which is the toughest part with three teams that are over the cap to begin with. Orlando and New Orleans gain a couple million in cap space which I think both teams would welcome so it could be added value to the trades.

Opinions please

I checked and it works in a single player dynasty if that influences anyone's opinion

Eric Gordan should go to the Magic not the Nets if you want to make this more realistic.

is anybody still using this thread? I am running a 30 team association and I have it pretty under control but I would love to bounce some ideas off this board.
