Re: Official 2K12 Rate My Trade

I would like some feedback on this, if I ever do an unrealistic trade it haunts me and then I end up quitting the franchise.

Boston trades;

Kevin Garnett
Avery Bradley

Atlanta trades;

Josh Smith
Kirk Hinrich or Marvin Williams

Josh Smith wants out and is absolutely perfect in boston with vets who can control him and take his outside shots away but keeps the defense there plus can run with rondo on the break.

obviously, garnett is the only logical choice to go (or peirce but I don't want to do that, he's a legend and it wouldn't feel right) bradley is the only young player besides rondo who I want to keep too

need to include either williams or hinrich to $ reasons but would it really make sense for hawks getting an expiring contract of a 35 year old when jj and horford are locked up for 5 years. good use a combo guard to be an effective sixth man

you guys think this is realistic?

I want to start a Miami Heat association, and I want Mario Chalmers out but i'm not sure. I was wondering who would be a good trade for Chalmers.

Re: Official 2K12 Rate My Trade

I'm trying to add a number 1 scoring option to the Nuggets as I still need a year or two to develope Danilo Gallinari. I'm thinking about making a move for an offensive minded Center or Power Forward. One trade that I had in mind was:

Javale Mcgee
Wilson Chandler

for

Brook Lopez

Brook is not a rebounding machine, but he's also not terrible and he can easily be the number 1 option until Gallinari is ready. Chandler is an amazing player, but I am a avid Longhorn fan and feel that Jordan Hamilton can be made into an amazing NBA sixth man.

If anyone can think of any other trades to get some offense on to this team it'd be helpful.

If you want a scoring PG then yeah good deal, but rondo can be just as effective as Deron.

deron is an excellent passer. besides rondo's 93 stl, he's really not effective in 2k12

Re: Official 2K12 Rate My Trade

After playing a couple of associations where I didn't change the Celtics' (my favorite team) roster around much, I am now playing one where I am going crazy with trades just for fun. I am trying not to trade for superstars, though; I have specific things that I love to see in basketball teams, so I am just doing trades that acquire players whose styles that I like. So far these are the moves that I have made:

Celtics trade: Brandon Bass, Mickael Pietrus, Marquis Daniels, Sasha Pavlovic
Rockets trade: Samuel Dalembert, Courtney Lee

Reason: I like big, defensive-minded, rebounding big men, which is exactly what Dalembert is and Bass is not. I also like wing players who are strong defenders and shooters, which Courtney Lee is. I like Pietrus a lot (both in game and in real life), but Lee is younger and will fit in better at the SG spot while Pietrus was stuck behind Pierce and Green and SF and seemed slightly out of position at shooting guard. Daniels and Pavlovic are scrubs.

Celtics trade: Keyon Dooling, E'Twaun Moore
Pistons trade: Ben Wallace

Reason: I like Dooling a lot, but since Rondo plays so many minutes it is almost a waste to have a great backup when I could just slide Bradley over to point guard while Rondo is on the bench. Moore is a surprisingly good NBA prospect in this game (somehow even better than JaJuan Johnson seems to be), but with Ray Allen starting and Lee/Bradley (both fairly young) coming off the bench, I didn't see him contributing any time soon. Wallace is ancient and will almost certainly retire at the end of the season, but he is one of the best defensive and rebounding big men in the game.

Free agent acquisitions: Keith Bogans, Eddie House, Renaldo Balkman, Theo Ratliff.

Current roster:
Rondo/Bradley/House
Allen/Lee/Bogans
Pierce/Green/Balkman
Garnett/O'Neal/Johnson
Dalembert/Wallace/Ratliff

With Greg Stiemsma in the D-League (I'd love to have him on my roster, but he is SO hideous in this game that I can't stand seeing him). I really wanted to acquire Reggie Evans to fill out my roster instead of Theo Ratliff, but I was unable to due to difficulty matching salaries and the Clippers seeming to overvalue him (even though my trades/team assembling has not been realistic, I have done everything without forcing trades).

After the first game of the season, the Nets offered me Deron Williams and Anthony Morrow for KG and Avery Bradley, but I declined because I already have a star point guard in Rondo and didn't want to lose my only good post scorer in KG.

I haven't done a crazy association like this for fun since NBA 2k11, so it'll be interesting to see how long it is before I lose interest.

I traded Calderon and a 1st and 2nd round pick for Nash. This was kind of a personal trade because Nash is my favorite player of all time and I wanted him to finish in canada. Also the suns are 9-26 so I am guessing they are going to rebuild.

I then signed free agent Manny Harris who is a surprisingly good three point shooter and is pretty fast for my run and gun style I use with Nash, Barborsa, DeRozen, Johnson and Bayless.

I need help on a trade for a center if anyone has ideas. I want to trade Bargani.
Trade for center: Johnson and bargnani and Forbes for tyrus Thomas and Carroll

Thomas can run like u want him to and he can pull up a 20 footer and. Carroll can shoot the three
