Re: We get NBA 2K12 Hands-On tomorrow, throw your questions in...

I'm just curious as to how pull up jumpers and catch and shoot sequences are compared to previous years, as well as swinging the ball around the perimeter.

Are the pull ups noticeably smoother and more realistic? (A little info on how the new escape dribble pull up feels would be great too)

And can you quickly catch and release consistently on kick outs? There were some drawn out catch animations and too much bobbling of passes in the half court last year.

A lot of people would just play zone defense all game last year because it wasn't possible to swing the ball quick enough to punish them, does the ball move quicker around the perimeter this year?

Thanks!

Can you still run full speed directly at a defending player without losing the ball or getting called for charging?

Alright Steve, do the Nets have more than two jerseys? If yes what are they.

Rebounding question. Are players with high vert ratings(I know your not looking at vert but you guys know who the freak athletes are) still able to come out of nowhere to get the board or do you actually have to work for positioning.

If you play a team like Grizzlies will Zach Randolph use advanced post moves. Same for perimeter players, will you see someone like Rose come at you with various moves.

If there is an injury can you describe how it went down, curious to see if they changed the way it works or if they added different injury scenarios.

Can you play sign out, knockout, around the world in black top mode?

Just make sure your question is as detailed as possible, otherwise we will not understand what you are referring to.

We'll answer the questions in our preview, but we'll first have to find out what information is embargoed.

We'll try to tweet some interesting things, if it is allowed. Maybe some images too.

Fire away.
Is jumping over the score board too frequent....because this does not happen every game and hopefully it doesnt happen too frequently....

Second, how is Kobe's shot(s) and fadeaways..are they realistic? Do you think with the new post moves and post shots, do u think that kobe will be killer in 2k12? like dominant?

Please make sure the framerate hasn't dropped from last year with the Drive and 2k cameras. Especially at Wachovia and Quicken Loans. They've been framerate killers until last year. Just hoping, that with all the new additions, that hasn't regressed. Thanks, Steve.....

Can you look at/ask about the Online Associations

Online Association
specifically -
1) will the system create rookies in NBA drafts during offseasons
2) will free agents be accessible (similar to the old fa_script)
3) is there an ability to import draft classes into online associations?
4) will the websites provide a social networking feel similar to the Call of Duty Elite website

I'm interested in if a player is explosive IRL that they looks similarly explosive in game. In the last couple games a faster, quicker player just seemed to move only marginally faster. And in fast breaks you didn't blow by anyone, you just gradually pulled away. I saw some of that translate in the Momentous trailer with Rondo, but I don't know if that was how it always is or if that was just an isolated event.

Really lookin' forward to open court situations if that's the case.

Also, outside of a playcall, dribble around the perimeter a bit and see if they do that sliding, bumping animation every time now.

2.more contact in the paint when ballhandler is under the rim?
3.removal of hopstep button? hope so
4. Elite rebounders like dwight and Klove actually get them instead of guards?
5.better movement for defensive players to counter those running side to side?
6. Removal of offball controls when playing online that leads to excessive lead passing?
7. Tone down powerdunking wade and lebron with less highligh dunks on excellent shot blockers?
8. Better help D by cpu teamated offline and online?

Check out CAP if you can, more specifically if arm length (reach) is in there and body types.

Alright this is a tricky one;

Please see how the Rebounding mechanics are. Preferably pick the Nets where you should have a guy who is seven ft. tall but had a poor rebounding season (Brook Lopez) compared to Kris Humphries who averaged a double-double. Find out please if based on the players rebounding skill, hands, and vertical they put themselves in better opportunities for Rebounds (think Dwight Howard versus Andrea Bargnani).

Also can you test how much better the live ball physics are? Like of long jumpers etc. if the ball takes the same predictable path or bounces realistically as possible.

Lastly Steve if you please can you see how offensive rebounding is and if there's still that suction that traps you into a box-in canimation? I.E. no Dwight Howard being boxed out by Jrue Holiday. But also see if you have more Offensive Rebound opportunities especially with Offensive board hounds like Moses Malone.
