NBA 2K games on the PC

I have heard some unsatisfactory things about the PS3 version of NBA 2K11, and I was wondering how is the PC version...

The patches on the PC version have always intrigued me, and since I usually play video games by myself now, I was wondering are they anyway better or worse then if I get it on the PS3 system

PC version is the best of all 3 because the mods coming up without and the overall look of the game is better. If you dont mind getting patches much later then the ps3/360 version and if u have a strong enough pc then yeah u should get it.

Re: NBA 2K games on the PC

That's good to hear. My buddy and I were debating between the PS3 and PC version. This is my first sports game for my PC in a while (since MVP Baseball 2005). I'm very happy to know that 2K patches their PC counterpart, since some game companies tend to just focus on the console versions. Just wondering, how is the modding community?

Re: NBA 2K games on the PC

The PC version has had a couple of issues in the past with some sounds not working, such as announcers or ball bounces. No custom music option has been in the past and there have been some controller issues due to the analog triggers not working properly in Windows.

I remember reading somewhere that it would be the same requirements as 2K10.

Court reflections and the lack of solid graphics in the Ps3 version has me leaning toward just running this on my PC. Still pissed..I'm not going to buy an Xbox

Presumably. Didn't for 2k9, but that one felt like it was something they thought of after release, so they didn't put together the full game. 2k10 had fully functioning (well, by 2k standards) online play.

But forreal, I asked mainly because I was kind tryna figure how their rosters and online functionality would work, compared to its console counterparts
