No pre-game intros

In my second year association the games jump right into the tip-off with no pre-game intro. I'm on a ps3 version and i'm not getting any music or pre-game intros starting quick games.

does anyone else have this problem? ive not heard it discussed before.
More importnatly does anyone know how to resolve it?
