The Lesson: Don't Hold Shot Stick for Dunks?

I needed two points to tie the game and force overtime. Here's what happened:

I've had this happen plenty of times, but that's the first time I missed it, and it was important.

At least I held LeBron to an 8-7-13.

Holding the shot stick had nothing to do with you missing. The problem was you changed your shot using the shot stick . In other words keep the shot stick in one direction because if you move it in one direction and then accidentally move it in another direction that will happen all the time especially when you get excited or nervous.

hahaha. Thanks for the info nod. I probably lose between 4-8 points a game online that way.

Yep. This happened to me a few times vs friends in RL.

Those games get intense.

Re: The Lesson: Don't Hold Shot Stick for Dunks?

I definitely hold it in one place. This stuff didn't happen in 2K9. The shot changing is more sensitive this year, and it'll do it when I slam the stick in one direction and hold it. In my mind I'm thinking, "POWER, POWER, POWER" and it looks like a big dunk, but then suddenly a strange change like that will go down. Since this never used to happen it's throwing me off.

Not saying it's a bad thing necessarily, I just think it's a really hard habit to break (I've done a few flick dunks but they felt weird).
