I remember him playing and I am not afraid to say, he was LeBron James before LeBron James as far as freakish athleticism. He was a cant miss and was BETTER than Jordan in college. 6'8 215lb run like a deer, strong finisher around the basket, blocked shots and could shoot from 15-20 feet. No real flaw in his game except for good judgment that led him to party that night. His kryptonite was that coke.

In Larry Bird's biography he stated that if they would have had Bias they would have 3 more championships

Yup I'm 43 yrs. old and from Boston ......remember Bias all to well

Back in the early 80's I was a huge Jordan fan before Jordan became GREAT !!

Was sooooo looking forward to seeing Bias become a great NBA player like Jordan and after his shocking death, it made you hate drugs more than ever and at the same time it made you feel sooooo ripped off as an NBA basketball fan : (

I'd say he could have been 1/2 Jordan and 1/2 Lebron.....If that's possible !! : )

From Boston, but not a big Celtics fan, however I think Bird was exactly right about more championship coming Boston's way if he had a career with them

I love flying into a corner WAY too hot, scared spitless and sure I'll never hold it at this speed- and hearing the bike whisper "Sissy!"...
