How use team generic arena / courts?

Was wondering if there is any way to use the team generic arenas / courts like some teams had in the preseason. Example like the lakers had alot of home games out of LA and cavs played @ ohio state and they had generic arena with a court with there team logos and colors on it.

Would like to use them for quick games . Or even in the association mode. I have seen some pic's that people uploaded that had lakers vs celtics using the generic arena/court. But they didnt play in the preseason.

That is curious, for I was under the impression they were only available in NBA Today preseason games. Might there be a chance that screenshot may be from someone's 2010 Association Preseason? Beyond that, I do not know how to use these courts but I'd be interested in finding out.

If you create a Team and have any team play in that arena, their logos and colors will be on the floor. Like Madden was with different stadiums being used for NFL teams, their logos would show up, despite not being their stadium.

I accidentally found this out by Creating a team, but only to use different colors to better match a Pre-Season court I saw on TV.

This trick works for EVERY TEAM. Draft Class, Rookies, Sophmore, 2K Team, etc.

so based on what you said this should work= i made a create team of the 92 dream team. So if i make the magic the home team the court will be based on the magic?

Yes.

2K made it that way so that when you create a crew online, the colors and logos immediately show up on that court.
