same here i want to know this too.
it's make this game looks like rpg game with these icons all over the player n sometimes it's overlay the other players on the court.
they should replace all these indicator something like PES or Fifa maybe next to each teams scoreboard on the top.
anybody?

not 100% sure you can but it would be in the presentation or gameplay settings somewhere.

It would be in presentation I think you put it to "none".

I got that the indicator measure how hot is the player, but I miss how it is suppose to indicate his hot spots (in 2k9 you had controller vibration for this). Can someone explain?

The more yellow bars that appear, the more comfortable that player is shooting the ball from that area.

When the bars turn red what does that mean?

Red means he's in a bit of a shooting streak...

I've looked under presentation and we can't turn off the hot spot indicator...I thought I was the only one that played without names

Re: hot spot indicator under players

well I learned somehing here today....

I always thought that those yellow bars indicated torbo, or fatigue, and never had any idea that they regarded hot spots.

Pretty cool, but I don't see it really influencing where I shoot the ball from.

lol I'm such a noob

Yea it really does. It helps in learning your players "sweet spot". For example, take Ray Allen in practice. And stick him in the left corner. And you will feel it rumble on certain spots. He is deadly from that side.
