Parts of the patch are in the latest roster

Just to combine a few threads here and thanks to Noodle for finding some of this stuff...

But some of the things mentioned in the "patch fixes" are actually in the latest roster update...

I.e. D-League games now get tiny crowds (they used to be full houses).

I'm telling ya...2K Sports are nuts. These guys should be all over forums telling people that they put this stuff in. Instead, they just drop it on you. LOL. Good stuff though

I've got absolutely no idea how they fixed crowds etc in a roster update...but it's there.

Same with the CPU's drive tendency's...all changed in the latest roster. Two major changes to the game in a roster update with absolutely no publicity.

I noticed this too and backdoor cuts seems lesser. I had my defensive assist at 25 and I'm having a few fairly realistic games at default sliders (except for the shot percentage and dunking ability).

I agree with you...but fellas here will debate that.

What's not debatable is that the crowds have changed...how do you change crowds in a roster patch? I've got no idea.

But it's been done.

The backdoor cuts can be fixed via player tendencies and I believe that after the roster update, tendencies sliders should be left alone. And teams are not doubling every player after that roster update (again it can be fixed via tendencies I guess).

But for the crowds to be fixed... I have no Idea how that is possible lol although I am not going to complain about it lol.

before the roster change i was getting super cheesed by chicago with passes into the paint the moment i was a step behind

I played them again just now and managed to compete with them

either its a superstition or they actually did fix it

but for me i feel that a lot of those passes have been cut down

Well, if they changed sth this substantial in gameplay and have indeed "recoded" things in some way than possibly. However, sim stats are still off as "shot tendency" and other things haven´t been touched.

What pisses me off is that they could have said they intended sth like that, that way Roster hadn´t spent hours after hours on a soon-to-be-outdated Base Roster and would have waited for the final-code roster this seems to be ...

this stuff will be added with the patch though wont it?

they mightve added some patch stuff to the roster, but im sure the actual patch will have this in it anyway.
i hope so.
because im not editing a roster again.

perhaps 2ks latest roster update has a beta patch incoded in it.

On the PC I can D/L the roster, but then can't load it into the game. There is no save that's the updated roster, and the default roster is still the original roster that I tweaked.

Yes, I also noticed some things like less attendance at the start the regular season.
