My Player: Have you taken over, if so how?...

What's up guys here is fun little thread I thought about and just wanted to share it with you guys.

How are you guys doing in your player's career? I have provided you with a quick template to follow and I would like to see all of you spend some time here and having some fun. I plan on updating this thread every two weeks so we can all keep it up to date. Any thoughts or ideas feel free to post them!

Let's start...

Current League: NBA
Drafted by: SA Spurs
Current Team: SA Spurs
NBDL Experience: None
Current Role: 6th Man

Andre Carter Stats

Games: 18
PPG: 13.2
APG: 3.5
RPG: 3.2
FG%: .483%
3P%: .200%
MPG: 14.5 (on 7 Minute Quarters)

Andre Carter's Career Recap:

In my case it's been easier than I expected. I had a great summer league and training camp and while my numbers were not amazing they got the job done. I think I always got was good teammate score. I averaged an A from the start of the summer league to the end of Training Camp. Now I am with the Spurs and I am loving it. I was drafted 11th in the second round and I have come to beat the odds, so far averaging 12 PPG, 3 APG, 3 RPG, 1 SPG. I started the season playing 12 minutes a game, but after Mason and Ginobili suffered injuries I got more minutes and took advantage to proof that I deserve more minutes.

In my last five games I've scored over 20 points and dished more than 5 assists now becoming the 6th man of the team and I am loving it! The Spurs are in first place and I am making a great effort to become a started over Richard Jefferson who has been struggling this season.

How do y'all make your "My Player" stats & ratings show up on the 2k website?

^ It shows up on it's own if you link your GT..

and man I really want to play my player but I get so frustrated because the sliders..I might just make it back to pro instead of all star because it seems to offer the best gameplay without any slider changes.

Player Profile

Player Name: Barry Ellsworth
Height: 6'8
Weight: 196
Position: SF
Current League: D-League
Drafted by: Undrafted
Current Team: Toros
NBDL Experience: Rookie season
Current Role: Starter
Games Played: 5

Andre Carter Stats

Games: 5
PPG: 22.2
APG: 2.6
RPG: 8.4
FG%: .52%
3P%: .28%
MPG: 24 (on 10 Minute Quarters)

Andre Carter's Career Recap:

After trying out with the Dallas Mavericks, I've been sent to the D-League to play with the Toros. The first 2 games I came off the bench, but provided quite a spark averaging over 12 points per game and over 6 rebounds per game in 10-15 minutes of play.

I have since started the last three games and have won 2/3 Player of the Game awards. My teammates are gaining confidence in me, giving me the big shots, and the crowd fills with anticipation any time I have my hands on the ball, especially from beyond the arc. Its as if they know where I belong and it's just a matter of time before I get there and show my true colors.

Re: My Player: Have you taken over, if so how?...

Just played my first NBA game. I guess the Mavs didn't want me, so the T-wolves are giving me a chance. Came off the bench for 26 minutes (40 minute game).

30 pts (Milestone)
6 Reb
5 Assists
3 Steals
73% 14/19 shooting (Yeah, a lot of shots, but when you're on the fast break or just plain open...)
2/4 3pts
A+ team rating

Take that Mavericks! You made a mistake! Now I just hope I can do it again.

Re: My Player: Have you taken over, if so how?...

11 games into the regular season with the oklahoma city thunder. 7'2" Athletic center, decent post moves(60 offensive low post, 75 low post shot, 75 inside shoot), good rebounder(85 both offensive and defensive), Good shotblocker (80), I have started 4 of the last 5 games. The team traded off Etan Thomas to pick up AK 47 from utah and for some reason nenad kristic got one start in the last 5. We are currently 6-5 and at the back end of the playoff hunt, hopefully will be solidly in by the end of the year, and I am currently averaging 10.8 pts and leading all rookies with 3.2 offensive boards, 10.0 boards, and 1.8 blocks per game.

My last game I put up 26 and 12 giving the team a real boost. My best performances however, or the ones I am most proud of anyway, were putting up back to back double doubles against yao and d-how as the team won both games and blocking kobe with 2 seconds left to seal a win in another game.

Re: My Player: Have you taken over, if so how?...

First home game with the Wiz, and I broke out with 17 pts, 11 boards and 3 blocks. My PF is primarily a defender rebounder, but has a nice post game, runs the floor, and is a pretty good finisher in transition. I had 5 highlight plays with a nasty oop from Gil.

Ive made it to 6th man energy guy. This game really opens up once you make a team.
