Anybody successful at getting blocks?

I'm not sure if my timing is completely off this year but getting blocks in this game is very difficult in the paint...I play with the 76ers most of the time and Dalembert gets bodied inside for dunks, layups etc..It's like they won't jump at all or even foul, and when you switch the CPU just tries to swat up instead of contesting..Then yesterday I played against the Pacers and Roy Hibbert was getting all these magnetic animation type NBA Live 05 blocks, so I was wondering how could I be able to do that

Yeah. Josh Smith is a beast at blocking in this game. He can do fast break blocks like in real life. I'm loving this game.

Re: Anybody successful at getting blocks?

It's pretty easy for me to get some blocks when defending post moves. I just anticipate which move they're gonna do.

yeah I did one and just grabbed it off the backboard, it was hilarious lol...But I'm having a problem where little defenders come straight to the rim head up..I either won't jump, end up behind the backboard or swat like hell at the ball and what seems like the ball is going through my hands, because it still goes in

It's more based on anticipation and timing this year I h think. For me I struggled at first and just did the post up drill to learn the new post moves to get my timing right, now I'm a beassst at blocking and killin it with Thabeet (blockings about all he can do lol).

Yeah, I'm not having a hard time getting blocks. I'm just holding down right trigger and timing them decently.

This is so true bro... I did the same thing as you and my timing is decent and I took Thabeet to a block party with me a few times LoL! Attention... do not sleep on this defensive rookie guys.
