PSP version screenshots

Got some shots of the psp version...

From what i've heard it looks and plays like PS2 NBA 2K6.. which is not bad for handheld console.. with added signature new animations like kobe's jumpshot

Also you use the analog stick to do the free throw.. like the console version..

I am just quite disappointed that the arenas are still 5 years old... sad they didn't wanna spend sometime to make it look like it's in year 2010...

Got this game yesterday and even though the graphics arent that good the game is incredibly deep. Image a minture version of 2k10 without the my player mode and a few extras.....I'll be playing this a long time, just wish it had some compatibility with the ps3 version, for like updating rosters and stuff.

does it have online infrastructure or just ad hoc? and downloadable rosters? how does it play in a 5 on 5 game, we only see a practice mode video, thanks.

No infastructure, just ad hoc. Didn't see an option for downloadable rosters. As for the gameplay, best PSP basketball game to date. Teams play like their real counterparts. It doesn't feel scripted. You leave somebody open and they'll take the jumper. I played against the Warriros and they played very up-tempo. Even Steve Jackson was taking quick 3 pointers like he does in real life. Graphics aren't great but I'll take better gameplay over better graphics any day. Replays look pretty good though. It also has all the camera angles that the next-gen versions have. Screens and picks could be done better though.

In franchise mode, it seems as if the CPU doesn't go deep into the bench. Maybe 7 deep. First game I simmed, all the starters logged in at least 40mins. After a while it somewhat evens out with the progressive fatigue. All in all, its worth the money. Pretty good showing for their first NBA outing on the PSP. It can only get better.
