My Player mode question...

My Player mode looks SUpEr FUN! But theres one thing i just don't understand. If your player gets drafted say by the Heat, Does your player "actually play with the current Heat roster" or is it it gonna be " made up" players like Combine? Do you compete against real NBA teams and their rosters or do you just "take/play against" NBA teams "logos"? Trying to make the jump to 2k this year, help me out.... Thanx...

It's the real teams. Wouldn't really make any sense to be "in the NBA" to have it only be the other teams jerseys you're playing against.

Aghhh!! Before, I couldn't wait for the 6th to arrive so I can pick up an NBA game, but with both games looking so goood, I'm now dreading the 6th cause it feels like it's gonna be a BIG decision day! I've read all the 2k10 features and love em all, but I also love the LIVE controls and "freshness" of the game. $120 in one day on 2 BB games is just too much. Especially with so many GREAT games coming out this year. The last 2k game I bought was 2k (2000) but I've always been disappointed with my LIVE purchase. The only reason I still buy LIVE is cause I don't wanna learn the new 2k controls (There sooo different!!) and cause they always hype up the game to be a "Better Improvment" then last year BUT we're left disappointed with promises of "next year it will be better". It seams as, many 2k fans are making the switch to LIVE this year and vice versa, I just don't know what to do. I guess my biggest concern with LIVE is one thing: CAN I TRUST THEM FOR ANOTHER YEAR?! sorry guys, i had to vent...

i have 2k10 and it is a big step forward in the series. There's starting to be less of a difference between game and a real life presentation. This game is as SIM as it gets. And the association is 10 times better than live. Live's improvements are more upfront and clear to see, but 2ks improves alot under the hood!(i mean a whole lot)

id have to agree the my player mode is SICK im having so much fun. if your a sim head youll love it. i was drafted in the 2nd rnd 37th overall by the spurs. made it thru summer league as the 4th leading scorer overall and invited to the training camp. i was cut by them after the third game of training camp and sent to the iowa energy of the dleague. this mode gives u exactly the feel of what its like of being an nba hopeful. I was rubbing shoulders wit TD and TONYP 1 day. the next day im the 11th guy on the bench of a dleague team who is gonna do everything it takes to realize my nba dreams. ILL B BACK TIM N TONY i luv this game

I love it!! That sounds so fuuuun! I wonder if after I get signed by an NBA team and my contract runs out, if I can choose to play/work out for my Lakers or any of your favorite teams? Do I have to wait for a team to give me an offer or can I somehow choose to work out for a team and then they choose if they like me or not> Regardless, Thanx for that post man! You just moved me up to 85% on getting 2k. They should thank you.

this mode is good but it does have a few gliches. good thing bout the glitches the all can be worked around!

no prob homey. if a team likes u they will offer u a 10 day coming from the dleague. u must prove yourself and if they like u they will offer you amother 10 day or a guranteed contract for the remainder of the season. at the end of that season u can choose which team u wanna play for u might be traded or released who knows. another cool thing is u have to be versatile. for instance im a shooting guard im 6'5 in real life so thats my height in game as well. on some nights ive been asked to play point guard because of foul trouble or injury. its challenging when u have been polishing your shooting skills then all of a sudden your asked to be a playmaker and to stay in front of a pg who u know is a lil quicker than u lol. oh yeah dont think the dleague is a cake walk they will bust yo *** 2 as u r at least in most cases 13 to 20 plus points lower than players in overall ratings when u first arrive. hard work and dedicaton is whats needed to make it. GOD I LOVE THIS GAME

Yes and you can adjust the height and zoom.
