Daaaamn, **** what I was sayin before about not playin this game till a patch comes out, I got the custom music to work but anyways...
Im N.O. playin in ATL and Okafor hard fouls Joe Johnson and it goes really quiet while he's down and he's kinda layin there in pain and I'm waitin for the announcers to say how he's injured but instead he gets up and limps his way to the free throw line with a painful assss look on his face lawwwl

The organ ditties and chants are done really well this year.
Each arena seems to have a specific atmosphere.
For example the Magic don't use a lot of organ, where as teams like the Knicks,and the Lakers do.
2K did a good job of capturing this.
Also their is a good amount of variety i've played probably ten games and heard a good 50 different variations.

Cheryl Miller doesn't just repeat the same few things this year.
I was playing my Raptors association and was up against the Grizzlies. She brought up how DeRozan and Mayo had a little extra incentive to one up each other since they're both USC alumni.
I thought that was pretty awesome, would have never expected them to give her specific match up lines, much less that match up.

The standing up until your team scores seems to happen on like 50% of the teams. It isn't "little things", because I don't really think some teams do that in real life yet they do that in the game. It's too general of a ritual now.

Bad little thing - Yes Cheryl Miller says a lot of new stuff, but for some reason they forgot to record the names of the new coaches for certain teams, like Toronto or Memphis. Instead she says "The Head Coach":-)[Reply]

Cavaliers (me) @ Boston, 4th quarter, all tied up. Boston calls a timeout. Less than a minute left. All of a sudden in my back surround speakers i hear "the final countdown" or some thing 2k came up with to sound exactly like it. Unreal. I Ended up winning in OT.

I love how they personalized teams intros and lights. I'm a Cleveland fan (duh) and all the game intros are the same as in real life. I thought they just had 2 photo intros and LeBron's chalk throw. They had the one where Shaq is holding Delonte, the baseball intro and LeBron rolling film, and the one where the lights are dim and you see a orange quick glow (supposed to be the fire from the Q-Vision which is cool because they don't show the scoreboard) and how they recognize holidays.

I could have sworn I heard player-specific call-outs and chatter. I heard something like "get it to Jose!" while playing as the Raptors in Memphis and "Bibby! Bibby!" in a street pickup game. If this is real and not just my imagination, add it to the list. :-)[Reply]
