NBA 2K10 First Screenshot Released

Live always looked better in terms of textures and potential lighting. Now that the E.A boys are focused and going for authenticism I personally feel like, unless 2k pulls out all stops. The road to glory may be over. Mike Wang is bball gameplay genius. 2k7 is still my fav in terms of leaps yr to yr. I love 2k but it always felt cheap and looked pixarish. The gameplay saved it but another yr of the same engine. I don't think I could stomach it, to be honest. But I will hold FINAL judgement til we know more. But as of today 2009 is looking like the year of the E.A. (No offense)

Seeing the screen for the first time, Looks OK, but from years past last year, it really strange that the graphics look like they have taken a hit, WHY?

Same thing happens every year. The screenshots closer to release always end up looking alot better than the 1st 1 they release.

This was 2k7, and the new shot to me doesn't even come close. I'm still waiting for any 2k game to look this good.

Screen looks aight...The obvious purpose of this was for 2k to demonstrate their version of the chalk toss. I'll jus wait it out for some gameplay footage.

What I'm realizing more and more, especially with next gen games, is that it's extremely difficult to make drastic improvements graphically to sports games in just a year. Unless they develop an entirely new engine, like "they" did, or a new technological advancement comes, you shouldn't expect big changes man.

Like a previous poster said, lets just hope they fix PIP and other issues that hampered 2k9...
