Anyone else not give a damn about cover athletes?

I kinda don't unless it's a huge star like Lebron or Kobe. But even then, doesn't make much of a difference. Think it'll be Dwight since they're announcing it so early (perhaps to mooch off some free publicity because of the Finals)

I honestly don't care much about who's on the cover, but when they release that, it means shortly after (at least i hope) we get real information. NBA Basketball has a fairly short off season.

Cover athlete could be Mikey Moore for all i care, but its just the start of a new game.

Howard is in that commerical with D-Wade and Barkely where they are playing NBA 2K9 and Charles gets D-Howard injured in the game.

I don't care about the cover guy, give me word on improvements to the series. I make a custom cover every year anyways.

Yeah, I know, but there are certain players that seem to me more LIVE-ish, I don't know how to explain it...LOL.

I'd be okay with a Mikki Moore cover. It would be nice to see a cover one of these years featuring a popular role player. I think a Chris "Birdman" Andersen cover would create a cult following.
