NBA 2K9 Insider needs to give Gallinari the shamgod move PROOF inside

Just because he did it once (in pre-season) doesn't mean that it should replace the double-cross in his package. I'm kind of annoyed that Derrick Rose and CP3 do it so often, because it's a move that very few people in the league currently have actually done in-game. I love the move and it's REALLY effective against the CPU and humans, but you can trigger it every single time by doing the double cross motion, and that's kind of wack. It should be a context animation or something similar to the Rondo Shake layup... seeing it so often kind of ruins it for me.

I could score 50 points with Derrick Rose doing nothing but that move... They really don't need to give it to anyone else. Has anyone even done that in-game in recent years except for the vid posted above? I can't think of anyone who has that in their regular repertoire that would warrant it being added to their package. I don't think that Rose and CP3 should have it really...

Are you guys saying the CPU controlled player does it or are you saying the user shouldn't be able to do it?

It's an uncommon move that I can't recall anyone using in a game situation over the past few years (can't find anything aside from Shammgod himself and Gallinari on YouTube either). In 2K9, it replaces the double-cross, a common move that 90% of the league actually uses at some point. I don't like that.

And giving that move (which is basically unstoppable due to the forward momentum and quick side-step involved) to a guy who did it once in Summer League and hasn't even played a regular season game in his pro career seems a bit uh.. hurried? Giving it to Rose and CP3 when they haven't done it IRL is bad enough -- at least they have the handles for it and it's a move that a top-flight PG would do.

I'm not talking about who and who not to give it to. But it seems like you'd rather call for something that is user controlled to become contextual when people have been clamoring for more control all year. It's almost like the theme song of 2k9.

I agree it shouldn't replace the double cross.
