Defense

I'm new to 2k, but I'm not going to use that as an excuse. Defense couldn't possibly be THAT hard to play in this game. Maybe I just suck at it, but it seems everytime I play on ball the opposition just drives past me for the easy bucket. If I try to play down low most of the time the PG will dish it to the guy I'm trying to defend and I have no chance after that.

I have a PS3 and I use the lock-on Defense, but I still get blown by regularly. It's frustrating because when I'm playing offense I rarely get the easy lay-ups the CPU gets.

Any tips for a noob?

It isn't you bro! I have been playing 2k since 2k and This year defense is non existent. Especially on default sliders. I can score almost every time I want. Guards that are at least 6'6 that have high dunking ability ie jason richerson, danny granger are too powerful in the game bc you can iso them to death, get to the paint and then score 85% of the time. The game on default sliders is similiar to nba jam!
