Post Play(offence)

I know this is a noob question, but how do you back down the defender?

I hold L2 and all my player does is stand there with his back to the basket.

So they just got rid of it completely?

They should have just toned it down

Re: Post Play(offence)

I really wish they could've just fixed the strength ratings for everyone so that strong players are y'know.. STRONG and weak/small players can't keep them out of the post.. Post offense is kinda stupid as it is now. Thank god for sliders though.

OP: If you're referring to offline play, just raise the user strength to 60 and put CPU at 40 (or leave it at 50) and it should take care of this issue.

Re: Post Play(offence)

It was too easy to back others down, so instead of fixing the issue, 2K just took the easy way out and removed backing down entirely. Problem fixed.

As Stumbleweed said, good thing we have sliders.

Re: Post Play(offence)

Thanks for the help^^^

But I still don't know how to back down... Do you have to move the stick in a certain direction?

Re: Post Play(offence)

You have to hold the left stick towards the basket. But it won't do much unless there's some difference in strength between you and the man who's guarding you, even if you alter the sliders.
